Just blows my mind that, decades later after “Evil Dead” trilogy, Sam Raimi is doing his Marvel comeback, after the first “Spider-Man” trilogy, with “Doctor Strange Into the Multiverse of Madness”… making it more closely to a HORROR movie within a superhero film. Raimi is a MASTER in doing 2d part sequels ducha a “Spiderman 2”, will do a great job “Doctor Strange’s” second film, and “Evil Dead 2” stands alone as a TIMELESS HORROR CLASSIC!!! Its an absolute masterpiece of the horror genre!

The chanting of the kandarian passages is probably the creepiest thing about this trailer. Really gives me paranoid chills.

this was the film that got me into movies. it is just so creative and unique and original and funny and charming and silly and scary and clever. watching this on VHS in the 90s as a young teenager opened my eyes to the world of cinema, and what you can create if you just have determination, creativity and willpower. this was a life changing movie for me, and I cherish it!

The absolute gem, sam raimi surprised the world with evil dead 2 back then. And still the new evil rise did not disappoint us, infact it was oretty unique and awesome! 80 and 90s were awesome. We used to focus more on the presentation of content

You know a series is good when people like the sequel more than the original.

The first one of these I ever watched was army of darkness. So I thought if watch evil dead one thinking it would be a comedy horror. Nope evil dead one is a lot different lol.

I was about 13 or 14 with my best friend Dwayne and we went to go see platoon and this trailer came on and it dropped everybody on the floor crying and laughing for the next 15-20 minutes man. As soon as girlfriend swallow that eyeball it was over

Probably my favorite movie as a child. Twisted my mind into a pretzel. A great example of wedding horror with comedy, right up there with TCM 2 and Return of the Living Dead.

Sam Raimi had to tone down his horror visions and turn it into a horror comedy cause he was facing trials on europe cause of the original Evil Dead horror gore. sometimes i wonder what would happen if such trials never existed and what would Sam Raime bring on Evil Dead 2 - non comedy version

The weirdest thing is I was a horror Hound from a very young age and I never heard of Evil Dead until Army of Darkness came out. I had seen some obscure and cult films at the time, but this one eluded me until middle school for some reason. One of the best horror movies of all time.
