Regarding the contrast between your interpretations of "put yourself in chaotic situations" and "show up prepared", I would say that these two concepts are two sides of the same coin in that a good strategist prepares for any eventuality and conserves their energy and resources to deal with chaotic situations as they unfold; dealing with chaos is much easier when you are prepared for uncertainty.

In the first line of weak points and strong; I PERSONALLY don’t see it at all your way. To me I read it as pick your field of battle and make them fight your fight on your timeline by picking the field of battle and being prepared and fight when your ready and have an advantage

In maneuvering your plans being dark and impenetrable last night and when you move fall like a thunderbolt I see it more like it keep them guessing and when you move come down like a hammer hit them hard so they don’t even see it coming
