I’m up here in Maine. What about the medical courier thing? What will I need to do to look into that legitimately? I don’t want to do this part time I want to do it full-time when I say full-time I mean seven days a week.
ОтветитьMy worst experience is delivering in a business located in downtown. My first time delivering there it took me 3hrs. Because there was construction and the destination took you to the front of the business, remember this is in down town location so if you don’t know where to go it will get hard and take longer to find the drop off. Turn out the drop off is in a parking ramp area I had to drive two blocks down and one way streets didn’t help as again construction and traffic played a role. After arriving I took an additional 1 hour because they needed the company’s shipment receiver to come and verify as the parking ramp was just a drop off, third party. Another thing is the dispatch didn’t know where the drop off was. So I had to park my car. Take elevators to the company’s storefront inside the building, ask where to drop off and then they said I had to go through the parking first and someone will come down. Now, I don’t know why at that time the shipment receiver didn’t come with me and show me because he ended up being the same person I talked to at that time and when I met him in the parking ramp drop off.
ОтветитьThanks for the information
ОтветитьIn what state are you out of? Because it matters as not all apps work in every state.
ОтветитьWait so you showing us company’s to join right but with our van 🚐 😮
ОтветитьAnything involving moving a product from pount A to B is an expense and to most companies its a necessary evil and viewed as such. With that in mind you can see how this keeps the profits on the low side. Nobody wants to pay mich for regular work. So I think in order to make money at it, you need to keep your costs lowvas possible to start up and be cheap to maintain. Then as you work in your area start reading the climate of that area and be open to changing what you do quickly. You may find a real good paying steady amount of work by doing something a little different or maybe specialty in some way. Regular work gets regular pay. No sense working for $20 per hour while holding all the responsibility of owning and operating a business when some stores pay nesrly that to be a cashier.
ОтветитьNot to mention if you gonna be picking up on the Airport Cargo
They going to take 4 Hours at least just to get your Freight, and most of the People who works at the Airports are Aholes
Connecticut nyc north east make the most money 💰
ОтветитьAll this just in the states. Not for canada
ОтветитьSon.. you just looked up a employee data base.. 🤦♂️
ОтветитьIf you have a free charging on a cheap long-range EV, you would avoid paying for gas and make way more profit. For example, the vw ID4 is leased now for 100$ with a down payment of 4k. Nissan Arya for 100$ and less than that down payment with 3 years free charging. EV charging stations are all over the place nowadays, and the charging time would take you at most an hour, but you would avoid paying for gas.
ОтветитьThe majority of these people a full of BS, I was in the industry, and most companies will not give you all the loads well I can say from experience that the first two weeks they will give you most of the loads to hook you. I would say you are better of getting your own DOT/ MC # your own insurance and LLC and pay to get o a load board and get your own loads.
ОтветитьThank you for your opinion. Most make it sound like a get-rich gig.
ОтветитьI don't see how this is any different from any other rideshare or delivery app. Yes you can make great money at certain times just like how you showed with those two different deliveries with a much different pay per mile. If you want to make good money then you're chasing high rate deliveries if you're even given enough options to have that type of choice with this app. I found that chasing high rate areas/delivery/rides is a waste of time and money. Not only is everyone else chasing them but if you go there then it is no longer a high rate since service is available. If this was a video that explains a way to become a medical logistics driver for yourself then I get how that can make you some great money. But working for these apps sounds great until you do it for a while. You need to spend money on special insurance because I'm sure you're not covered in case you get into an accident and that medical cargo is damaged or destroyed unless the app takes all responsibility for your delivery which I doubt. Once you figure in the cost of the vehicle and insurance, which is a constant whether you're on the road or not you have to work a lot of hours to make decent money. When you are on the road you have to add the cost of gas and mileage as well. I sat down and did the math for these apps and the cost per mile and you profit less than a minimum wage for a 50 hour work week. That's just for a regular sedan, the cost of a Mercedes truck is much higher in all categories. In the end the difference between a good day and a bad day is how much people tip you, if that's even an option for medical logistics. I'd love to try it but I don't see how this is any different than the rideshare and food delivery app scams that are already out there. Your auto insurance will not cover you if you're using your car for work and not telling them. When you do tell them your insurance skyrockets to ridiculous numbers and they want all types of additional information such as how many miles you drive. So the more you work the more you pay in insurance unless you're willing to roll the dice with regular insurance that will leave you uncovered which you can't do for rideshare but can do as a delivery driver. But then again food is not nearly as valuable as what you could be carrying as a courier so I'm unsure about whether you should roll the dice as a medical courier. Getting into an accident and losing your car or getting hurt and being denied coverage is bad but getting into an accident while carrying something someone is depending on and could hurt them if they don't get it is another.

ОтветитьThere’s medical delivery jobs paying 800 to 1200 a week using not your vehicle but their vehicle. So it’s doable 🤷🏾♂️ 8k to 14k OTR and cars and cribs out here making moves.
ОтветитьHello. Thank you for your honest feedback. I'm currently considering getting an SUV or a cross over to do this kind of work part time. I only have time to do this kind of work on the weekend do you think it would be worth it if I invest say 7K on a car over a year?
ОтветитьCould you list the website us used in this video?
ОтветитьGetting in as a driver for Amazon or UPS is pretty hard.

I would be thrilled to make $50k for that kind of freedom. 🤷🏼♀️
ОтветитьI have been doing gig jobs part time for years now. Most of the You tube videos are maybe 50% accurate. Best money I have made per hour or day, is with Uber/Lyft and DD. Some hours I average $20+. I am in a medium sized market, but if I was in a larger area like NYC, Chicago, or Miami I know the average would be higher. Either way, if you want to make decent money, you will have to work tons of hours. Maybe even split times during the day.
ОтветитьDon't forgot vehicle repairs, maintenance etc
ОтветитьThank you for confirming what I’ve been both feeling and experiencing in this industry. Especially about the contract work. I just got hit with a bait and switch with TForce
ОтветитьI signed up for 2 medical couriers. I hardly get any work. When I do get a call, they need me to do a pick in 30 min for 15 bucks. Why would i get up just to do a 15 dollar call for the rest of the day? not worth it
