ОтветитьAnother of good progress!
ОтветитьGood morning from Ontario. The bushing that someone was talking about is in the top of the gear box that the gathering chain drive shaft comes thru. If it wears out and starts wearing into the gear box, it is gearbox replacement time instead of just a bushing. No wiggle in your top shaft, all good 👍🏻
ОтветитьI am amazed by the number of hydraulic hoses on the combine.
ОтветитьPosi-lock pullers are the best on the market. Dang expensive but so worth it after you use one
ОтветитьDid you size the overhead door for the corn head? Or did it just work out to be an almost exact fit?
ОтветитьGood morning… cold and snowing here… no washing outside!!
ОтветитьDo you have a water jet nozzle and hose that hooks up to your pressure washer to clean out your floor drain pipes that come to daylight?
ОтветитьWhen you powerwash a dirty combine all the crap you wash off it gets on you, I know first hand on that, but powerwashing is the way to get most of the crud off the machine
ОтветитьThe grease in the PTO shafts get dirty and gummy over time and when the temperature drops it is hard to telescope it to hook it up We only greased the PTO sparingly to try to prevent that
ОтветитьAndy from farm fixing fabricating mentions the bushings inside the corn head gearboxes that could be replaced he had to replace a gearbox this was during last years corn harvest
ОтветитьGood morning

ОтветитьYes you prob clean combine more than anyone else but it does help and keep critters from attacking it during storage !

ОтветитьIf the Drain was clean it wouldn’t have a Pond!
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьThanks for the video
ОтветитьIt was Andy Hourigan that had those bushings go out on a 693 head. Complete different design than your head
ОтветитьKeep up the good work love the way you take care of your equipment
ОтветитьAllan for Australia 🇦🇺 utube hogog farm
ОтветитьYes, I follow a large grain operation that use S700 series also probably same model head you have only bigger. They have a lot of trouble with those bushings. Cost them thousands before they realize what was going on. Now they check for shaft play every year. Just mentioning, not judging. Your head may be different.
