I know I'm definitely an old guy, to me work trucks are regular or extended cabs with 8 foot beds and not many frills. I flip out seeing guys at the lumber yard with leather crew cabs and 5 1/2 foot beds!

It funny you mention the tires. I see people all the time buy a car and think they can afford the payment. They live paycheck to paycheck and when something comes up like maintenace or tires the can't afford it. Unless the car is under warranty it cost more than just the payment to own it. Had a lady in the other day who was driving a 2008 BMW 7 series and the cords were showing on the tires and she hadn't changed the oil in over 20,000 miles. The drivers side window wouldn't open and the car smoked like a chimney when you started it. Which given the amount of oil and coolant leaks it had I'm surpised they had any to burn. It would have cost me nearly $12,000 to make the car reliable it would have cost her double that with labor. But hey she was driving a beemer!

As far as the cruise control radar, you do not need to go to the dealer to recalibrate it. Use a program called Forscan and you can calibrate it yourself. I added adaptive cruise control to my 21 f150 that did not come with it and I didn’t go to the dealer

Yes, too quickly these days. Airbags are going off and they do not need to. We are making our vehicles too expensive to repair. If that’s too expensive sure. We are pricing everybody out of the market anymore.

What a pig. Whoever owned this. It looks like you need new carpeting. And I would put a new steering wheel on it too. Nothing feels better than a new steering wheel in your hands. It’s not that expensive.

Nothing makes a car feel new again more than a new steering wheel. And sometimes new seat cover and padding on the driver side. This truck would be a prime candidate for both. In addition to a new carpeting. The truck would smell new and feel new when you drive it

There’s a company called Airbag Service in the U.K. that’ll come and change the airbags for you, must be someone like them in the U.S. and those airbags can be re-packed - if you don’t cut them out first…

vTuned I saw you used a 12 Ton jack stand, I was looking at those as I want to install a 3.5" rough country leveling kit on my 2007 GMC Yukon XL, I currently don't own any jack stands and I'm debating going with the 12 tons or the 6 tons which do you recommend?
