It's official then. Grey knights are not getting new models except Crowe. At least not any time soon. At least the blackmane and thraka box set had primaris. But not until a year or so later did Orks get new Boyz

Honestly I feel like GK was not thought of very much when it came to the progression of the 40k storyline and now it seems like they don't have a place anymore. They were created to not only fight chaos daemons but chaos as a whole. The original astartes were not created for it, yet GK were.. But with the cicaxtrix maledictum new legions of primaris are being sent out to turn the tide. If that's the case, what good are GK.

The fluff and flavor of psyker vs psyker in the box set makes sense. But lore wise, wouldn't the primaris be better suited to take out these thousand sons. Yes psychic power is potent, but a primaris and their myriad of shots and doctrines would lay waste to the thousand sons without nearly a psychic thought. 😏

I just dont feel like i can be excited about GW right now : /
They just dont care whatsoever about what the community wants

i really think the savings should be higher, or include codexes, all gk and ts players have the damm minis of the box, its annoying

I think september is a good possibility not that both TS and GK codexes are released. Two months is a long time without a codex release. It is strange that we have no idea what is coming next for 40k. after the weekend we have no ideas what the next codex is as a community even if we cna make very educated guesses.

I think the boxset might be worth it for a thousand sons player but for grey knights just wait. You’ve got a crowe modle already you can use a little bit longer.

Is this box good for someone that wants to collect Thousand Sons? My friend wants to collect them and I don't mind splitting with him, as long as this is a good deal in a split format for both of us.

I agree Valrak. This is actually where I do not mind the scalpers. Because when they did this with the drukhari box set, I was able to easily go to eBay and buy both the new drahzar and new incubi separately, and fuhk all the rest of the box. It’s sad GW does this, but it’s true. They make a new HQ model and stuff the rest of the box with old crap. Hoping that people will have no will power and pay that price to have the new models now. Instead of selling the damn new model separately.

Yea, another reason to boycott Warhammer+ and games workshop. ✊

£30 for the grey knight codex is a crime. how many datasheets are in the space marine codex yet theres only 32 in grey knights and there the same price!

So is 105 pounds 140 America bucks? I see people equating this to a combat patrol

Hope they don't do some surpise massive release just to distract people from the whole ip debacle.

This on top of everything else that GW has put the community through this past week, is just another reason to boycott them...for a while at the very least. I love black templars but I’m not excited about them any more.

i hope the next preview is AOS. We got a whole new edition and it'll be like a month and half to even get the first books and like 3 months for the 3rd book under a new edition.

i really fear the price of the new horus heresy box :/

50 euro for the TS side of the box is good value if you need the termies and tzaangors, getting it on ebay prolly cos not interested in GK

Supposed to be another big AoS drop in October. This was announced in the Dominion preview as a big chaos drop in October. So I think it depends how big of a drop it is.

Curious as to your thoughts on months leaning towards one main game or the other.

I'm the exact opposite opinion on the dice. And i'm a Tsons player, but the GK ones look so much better

Did anyone really expect GamesWorkshop to do anything different? They have always just put one or two minis in a new box set and overpriced the box set. Come on people of earth. GW is no longer a game company but a power hungry corporation and have been.

I'll pick up the Hexfire book when it goes on eBay and then wait for the Infernal Master. It's a shame they've taken all the nice swirly patterns and the skull 1s out of the Thousand Sons dice too. They're just worse dice than the previous ones.
