I wonder if you have a cat
ОтветитьLike you my least favorite product is pastels as well. I enjoyed watching your videos. Thank you.
ОтветитьThe pencil kit is great! I got it for my birthday and it’s amazing unless your dog eats the eraser
ОтветитьFloofle´s super cute! :-D
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьCome on now, Mira, you know for a fact, that if someone wants to get into watercolors, supplies 100% matter because if you start out on cheap watercolor paper and use cheap paints, you're work WILL suffer. I know a couple people that completely gave up on watercolors because they assumed it was them and one, it was him, shh! But I did the same thing and coming from acrylic paint, it was crazy and I almost gave up painting all together, until I decided to spend a little more money and thank God I did because I haven't looked back since, I completely fell in love w watercolors
ОтветитьI recently needed some new pencils so I thought I’d try the Amazon Basics I was shocked by how good they were. Now I’m watching Amazon Basics pencil crayon reviews because I gave away my prismacolors to my adult daughter who started colouring. I know what I’m going to buy and check out
ОтветитьYou should try sharpening them shorter. If you sharpen a Prismacolor like that they snap right off .
ОтветитьI've been seeing those colored pencils suggested all the time, they do look beautiful. I think his name is Charlie, even though I'm sure you've named him already.
ОтветитьI appreciate your opinion, but either you received a bad batch, maybe one that had been dropped, but you're simply dead wrong about the Amazon pencils. I get less breakage with the Amazon pencils than with Prismacolor. If you look around at other videos, I think you'll see these pencils get a very high rating from artists, and you're the first I've seen complain about excessive breakage. You're also the first I've heard complain about blending. I find these pencils blend very, very easily, and very, very well. I've watched several other videos by pro artists who say the same thing.
They should blend well. Amazon copied everything about Prismacolor in making them. They are, in fact, as close to being Prismacolor as a group of highly experienced professional artists and manufacturers could make them.
You say they're fine for those who color, but get something else if you want to sell? First, I've never colored a single page, but I have friends who love it, and colorists are just as much artists, just as professional, and just as demanding as any other artist. But I assume you mean get one of the three or four top brands that cost several times what they're worth? One of the three or four top brands that owners always say are the best. . .until they blind test them against low cost brands and can't tell the difference about forty to sixty percent of the time. I'm including myself in this category. I've been fooled by cheaper brands against the three top brands I use.
I have Prismacolor, Caran d'Ache, and the battered remains of a 120 count set Faber-Castell Polychromos.. Admittedly, I use these for my main artwork, and they are wonderful pencils, but they are NOT as good as most artists pretend they are, and they really are NOT worth the price, or anything close to you. You wouldn't think they were worth the price, either, if you knew how little it costs to manufacture them. Let me rephrase part of this. They are as good as most owners think they are, but they are really no better than many far cheaper brands, or so close the difference in negligible.
I use them because they are good, and they're a tax write off, so the cost really doesn't matter much.
Many point to light fastness as the deciding factor, but this, too, is misleading. It's assumed that if the light fastness isn't given, the pencil doesn't have any. This is wrong. Most low cost brands simply have never been tested for light fastness, often because doing so costs more money than many would think, or because they come from a country where this simply isn't done.
Try testing some of these unmarked brands against a full spectrum of the big brand names. The results will surprise you.
What do you think of Kinderart brand? I'm homeschooling my 6 and 8 year old grandsons and this is very affordable for them! love, love, love your show!
ОтветитьI’m on social security and I live to do art. And can’t afford the high end brands thank you for doing this review

Ответить“ThiCC cores resist breakage and provide longer lasting use. 😈”
slaps the lingerie book
I love the art work that was behind you. It’s so pretty ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHas anyone else tried the art supplies featured in this video? The way Mira is excited while she’s trying out her new art supplies and reminds me of a child on Christmas morning opening their presents.
ОтветитьIt is weird, as I am in Australia and I have never seen Amazon basics listed here. I am always a little intrigued about them when I see creators like yourself using them.
ОтветитьI received my color pencil set in a box with other items so was picked good. When I order just pencils, they are in a plastic type envelope and break over and over.
Ответить🦒
ОтветитьYou can not draw. I am sorry.
ОтветитьWhen u r a infityare : Wow ! only 1000 pounds!
Ответитьthe markers are like tombow markers ive realized, very very nice. And super cheap.

ОтветитьName the hedgehog Russell J. Ferguson.
ОтветитьI broke one of the pastels in my set too. They are pretty thin but still works nicely.
ОтветитьI bought some of the Amazon pencils, Love Them
No idea if as good as Prisma i cant afford those
This is the seventh or eighth person I've watched review the Amazon colored pencils. A friend of mine turned me on to them after she had watched quite a few reviews and purchased them for herself. I usually buy and use Prismacolor colored pencils so I was skeptical. Honestly this is the only bad review of the Amazon colored pencils out of every video I watched. I talked to my friend about the concerns Mira had about the pencils breaking all of the time and she said that she did not have the same experience at all. It wasn't brought up in any of the other reviews at all either. So I don't know what Mira's specialty in art is or if she is an avid colored pencil user. Maybe not but I don't sharpen my pencils to such a fine point and I use the edges of the lead more than the tips. So I went ahead and ordered the pencils since they were very cheap anyways and I have to say that I highly disagree with the rating that was given to the pencils. Especially if she was being very generous with her rating. I would give them a solid four out of five. They are comparable to the Prismacolor in a lot of ways and some wouldn't be able to tell the difference as far as color matching and blending. This is just my opinion though but I thought I'd share 😊
ОтветитьI really wouldn't buy any pencil crayons from Amazon. They are so rough with stuff during shipping. If you repeatedly drop them, the leads are going to have micro breeaks and snap as soon as you try to use them. They can't get cans of anything to me without dents. Fountain pen ink usually takes 2 tries. It almost always gets broken the first time.
ОтветитьThanks for the review!
ОтветитьDo you have courses or/ and tutorials?❤
Ответитьyou are so adorable! such a cute energy
ОтветитьI think you are quite good in art I don’t know
ОтветитьCan u review these about space colour pencils kit (75 pcs)with shading hb pencil, vinyl eraser, sharpener&storage box for book colouring,blending,sketching-art supplies for beginners&artists, multicolor
ОтветитьI’m in Europe and we don’t get the fancy tins from our Amazon!
ОтветитьI use the Amazon electric sharpener and have been using it for a year. It works very well and is still going strong for over a year now.
ОтветитьMy pencils never break. I’m on my fourth set of 72 Amazon basics pencils. They are so cheap, it’s a joke!!!
ОтветитьI can’t believe you did those dreadlocks so well!!!
ОтветитьI cannot agree with you on the pencils. I find them truly good and the price is too good. To me they are better than Arteza. You probably got a Monday set of pencils.
Ответитьu really give me good vibes and i also really want to buy and try those amazon basics pencils and markers too
Ответитьyour drawing is really cute i like it a lot
ОтветитьWhat!! You’re bad at drawing people!?!? That’s so good the best I can is a stick figure
