We need true revival and reformation

We need to start caring for the lost and hurting. Im all alone in the middle of a Mennonite community and spend most of the time in tears. No one comes over to ask if Im ok and do I need prayers. It feels like im dying alone and I am retired. Im not a Mennonite but am a born again Christian.

I agree. I have been thinking the same thing. What are church offering? Trump as a mesiah? That's what I have been hearing.

Amennnnn. Discipleship.

Many churches are not emphasizing on discipleship. So much for politics and prosperity gospel. Many are so hungry for something many churches are not giving. Yes, edification, building up and maturing of the saints.

An Enduring Word Study Bible … Alleluia, Praise God truly.

I started in 1986 with a KVJ. Got it all marked with notes.
Have 19 Bibles ( some marked, some not, some used for specific topics)
Now I’m using The Prayer Bible NJKV while I study using Enduring Word Commentary and truly it’s been a blessing; an F. B. Meyer 3 lights Godly guidance kinda blessing.
I’m on fire all over again, sucha inspiration.

You don't address the fact that Christians do not even love each other and what at times feels even like there is a caste system, even in the church.

I believe that the emphasis of Bible reading and teaching is lacking, as well as prayer and trust and adherence to God's Word. Many,churches are man run and do not allow the Holy Spirit to lead and therefore they become social clubs with too many activities centered around entertaining the congregation. People cannot grow in the Lord without being taught to trust the Word of God and to learn how to hear the Holy Spirit through the Word of God.

We are living in the apostasy Paul spoke of.

They're missing preaching on repentance and not everything goes like some churches believe!

This video about "Modern Christianity" seems to be really about modern western Christianity. And this reveals an egocentric bias which helps explain a problem in the Western church because Christianity does not have man at the centre but instead has Christ at the centre. Therefore if the Western Church wants whatever it thinks is missing then first seek His kingdom and that His will be done rather than focus on self or the idol called church. In short, wake up and seek His will and then do it. It ain't complicated.
