Conquering Gunshot - Old Telegraph Track Cape York | Is it really that hard?

Cape York begins at the small township of Laura where we drive up the Peninsula Development Road to where the Old Telegraph Track starts at Bramwell Junction.

We camp at Bramwell Station then spend 2 days driving north on the Southern and Northern section of the Old Telegraph Track.

We cross Nolans Brook, Sams Creek, Cannibal Creek and descend the infamous steep drop of Gunshot Creek in the Toyota FJ Cruiser and Land Cruiser 79 Series.

We find some of the best campgrounds on the Old Telegraph Track and see why it is easily drivable with commonsense and a bit of experience and planning.
