. . . I just googled and Lukashenko is still there. It's 2024.
ОтветитьDid you know Belarus in Russian is White Russia?
ОтветитьBelarus is not Russia ,Belarus is Ruthenium and Lithuania
ОтветитьLove to Belarus from Greece
ОтветитьLove Belarus from Australia (except the Lukashenko government)
🇦🇺❤🇧🇾
Oh man this vid didn't age well.
Event 8 years ago I'd question a lot of it, but now in political and social life everything worsen. Lukashenko is a pro-russian dictator who apply repressions on the belarussian nation destroying everything national. He really hates all national. Literally: killing people, torture them or leading to death in prisons. All because he don't want to step down after protests in 2020.
Unfortunately Belarus is currently (and was before since 1994) under russian control with all consequences. It's dangerous to speak belarussian in public or read in public. Pre-lukashenko national symbolic, likes in facebook or comments, socks of improper color, reading news from independent national journalists will lead person to prison. Might sound like a stupid movie but this is day to day reality.
Now, when Novalny was tortured and killed by Putin in prison -- everyone is discussing this. In Belarus this is become a standard already: bunch of people were led to death. E.g. yesterday (20.02.2024) died Ihar Lednik in prison because nobody was offering him a medical care. Who knows about it and care? Not many.
Currently there is no good future for Belarus.

Yeah, the phrase "white Russian" has at least three major meanings in sociopolitical contexts. First, it is a literal translation of Belorussian, and yes, the etymology is literally white + Russian. (There are arguments about what exactly white means in this context, but historically various groups of Rus were labeled with various colors, most prominently white, red, and black. And no, red didn't originally refer to communism, that came later.) White Russian can also refer to the White faction in the Russian civil war. Finally, and perhaps most obviously, sometimes it means a Russian national of Caucasian ethnicity (e.g., "Many of the English teachers in Heilongjiang are actually white Russians and are not native speakers of English at all").
ОтветитьBelarus 1991
ОтветитьAs a Belarusian I can agree I hate when people call me Russian or say that Belarusian is just Russian
ОтветитьI was born in Belarus 🇧🇾
ОтветитьAs a person from belarus i can confirm i litterly always say im russian
Ответитьlukashenko+ hair - a bit of moustache = hitler
Ответитьвсем в беларуси похуй что ты в беларуси
ОтветитьThis is one of the episodes that has a lot of misrepresented facts and false statement.
It also did not age well: hopefully you see Barbs, how being playful and funny about dictator not respecting human rights is not appropriate. We have thousands of political prisoners. And we have had them in 2000s too, it's not a new phenomenon.
Lukashenko didn't build Belarus - Belarusian did, low unemployment rate is a falsified statistics, where people have 0.25 FTE jobs, so they won't qualify for unemployment benefits (which are hilariously low btw).
Belarusian language is one of the oldest slavic languages and the first printed Slavic book was in Belarusian (early 16th century ).
Feels like this episode was made based on Russian propaganda, more than facts.
Here?
Ответитьi hate this video already from the first 5 seconds
ОтветитьWatching it now=) Barbs absolutely butchered the first phrase in Russian, it's not even understandble😂
ОтветитьBelarus or Bulgaria or Macedonia or Ukraine or Serbia or that all everything part great 👍😃 empire Russia 🇷🇺❤❤ glory Russia 🇷🇺
ОтветитьIf you ever get to Belarus and you know Russian, then remember this, NEVER CALL BELARUS "BELARUSSIA"!
Ответитьnice video! but you can feel the view of a person who has not gone deep into the origins, it is impossible to justify Lukashenko, and there are other inaccuracies, and what about language and culture, I won’t talk for a long time, let’s just take dry statistics, in 1994, before Oukashenko’s rise, the number of schools in Belarusian was 67% after 2 years after the arrival of Lukashenko, IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY there were about 20 schools left exclusively in Belarusian, and only in Minsk, draw your own conclusions, and by the way, Belarus did not recognize Crimea as Russian and even helped Ukraine in 2014 with advice and even financially
ОтветитьOkay, same as if someone called you English or british because you speak english.
Ответить🇧🇾
ОтветитьDon't call me English, said the American.. USA'er..ehhh?
ОтветитьBelarusians: No matter how much Russian we speak, do not call us Russians!
Austrians: I feel your pain
I hope Belarus becomes free for everyone.
ОтветитьLizi ASMR, this is your country! 🇧🇾
ОтветитьThis did not age well.
ОтветитьHow do I double like?
Ответитьi wouldn't waste my money overall visiting especially now . country needs to reform first. so many better places in the world

ОтветитьHes was the opposite of a dictator for covid1984
ОтветитьPaul "Don't call Belarusians Russians"
(plays stereotypical Russian music in the background)
Thank you.
ОтветитьThey don’t do anything to the people who don’t have jobs
ОтветитьThe laws for crimes aren’t severe at all, they have normal laws like every normal and good country
ОтветитьLove from the United States of America to Belarus! 🇺🇸❤️🇧🇾
Ответитьso many of the old episodes start with "DO NOT call these people [insert similar ethnic group]"
ОтветитьNo, it’s DUCHY. You pass the DUTCHY to the left-hand side.
ОтветитьWhat a ridiculous waste of time. Go find to do something else bro.
ОтветитьI speak English but I’m not from the UK nor am I English.
ОтветитьThis is one of the videos that could use an update.
