Voge 500DSX ! Another used Chinese motorcycle with no issues at all?

You have a really valid point about Chinese bikes. Have we been ripped off on other bikes for years if they can make their bikes so cheaply. That learner you were behind is riding way way too close 😬

I like them. I really like the Benelli 702. I think that would be my choice around this bike size.

Very good point. I have got to that time where 500cc twins are perfect. Good economy, plenty enough power and lower road tax. I kind of laugh at the Willy Wavers who need the bigger bikes but can't even ride them properly. Great review, right up my street.

Well as a owner of the newer DS525x I can see its much the same but upgraded and its a cracker....900miles and well pleased....

Ps gilly suggest you try the voge AC350....what a brilliant twin 350cc motor absolute hoot ...

These are great bikes, with a great engine…there’s nothing not to like here.

This is virtually the Honda 500 engine…have no fears, it’s a great engine

One day you will need spare parts, then the fun begins.

A bike that young shouldn’t have any issues , no matter where it’s built , so I would expect it to have had or have none anyway . I dare say with all the hype on the 900 version , there could be more of these Chinese 500 sized ADV bikes traded or available on the used market . These could be a bargain for more level headed mature riders, who realise 500 cc is more than adequate , for real everyday riding situations , & boring motorways when needed .

I bought a secondhand Voge 500DS from In2moto a couple of weeks ago and it’s proving to be an excellent bike - comfortable, well equipped and easy to ride. I went around the Peaks on it last weekend and it handled the twisty roads perfectly. The only negative is there is a lot of vibration through the foot pegs at motorway speeds. Other than that it’s well built and everything works as it should. PS agree with you about looking after your bike 😊

when I started riding. 500 was considered, med to large! (late 1970's) DUE TO PRESS HIPE now not capable of anything but as a commuter learner bike. Yes I had the Norton / Triumph posters as a kid, but they were crap as bikes (even though they were classed as superbikes). Would I buy a Voge or CF Moto (around 400-550cc) nowadays. Yes. but my Moto Guzzi V7 Stone I am more than happy with, great for pottering around the lanes as well as a motorway blast. If four bikes had been around the CF Moto 400, Enfield 450 Hymie or Gurrillia or the Triumph 400 scram would have been considered.

Nothing not to like, no it isnt exciting but obviously it is very capable and priced really well and it is what the Honda 500X should be without paying a fortune on extras

Seriously considering the Voge 900 DSX as my next bike. The tried and tested BMW engine and all the included extras (including luggage) seem to make it a bit of a no-brainer.

The Pannier set did come with the first bikes free of charge.

These Voge(s) look very capable .....Nice bike . I could " tour" on one of these no problem 👍👍👍
