My farther was an engineer for NASA from 1963-1970 It was the coolest time in my life to have been around these massive machines. It is the most beautiful symphony of destruction and pure horsepower I have ever witnessed in my lifetime!

I used to tell my Mum with dementia about Laika, and got her to write it down. I would then ask her about it when I called or saw her, she remembered. I never told her Laika didn't survive. Edit: @beffjezos00 thanks for the correction.

Ironically, JFK didn't care much for the space program, or landing on the moon. He saw no value in it. However, he did see it as a great political maneuver to boost his popularity, which persists to this day.

Neil Armstrongs words at the end of this documentary gave me goosebumps. He said what needed to be said. A humble guy. The right man to be the first on the moon. The right stuff for sure.

The biggest giveaway, when asked why we haven’t been back, is that NASA Said publicly We used to have the technology, but we no longer do.
Also, Say they don’t have the budget anymore. Nasa had numerous failed attempts prior to the Moon Landing” and somehow convinced the public that they figured it out and had a flawless execution on 1969 tech but now no longer have the technology available in 2024. Musk has said that there's a 70 percent chance that he'll travel on a rocket to Mars in his lifetime, and that he's thinking about eventually moving there to live in a human outpost on the surface of the red planet. And the genius can't even land on the Moon. Elon Musk always reminds me of that Green Day Song "American Idiot." It should be the US National anthem song.

I find it incredible that they managed to land on the moon with the limited technology that they had at the time compared to now. The dangers involved the courage of the astronauts and the decision makers at key moments. And I find it equally incredible that some people don’t believe that they achieved it. It would be even more incredible for half a million people to mask the truth for their whole lives especially the astronauts who flew there and I’m sure that the Russians and the Chinese would have quickly compromised the big lie if the USA hadn’t landed on the moon. Hopefully the doubters will be put to rest in 2025. Some videos should be a must watch for children as part of their education and this in my view is one of them.
