Marco Polo Title Sequence

One of the best intro/ openings I have ever seen. Simply gorgeous.
Such a shame it did not continue.

This show had its problems (a lot of them. Some REALLY big ones) but I am continuously blown away by how insanely hard this title sequence goes, especially with the knowledge of how much of it was done practically. I never skipped it, and it never failed to get me really excited for an episode.

The way the blend Mongolian vocals with Chinese instruments is so good

The chinese music tones, combined with mongolian throat singing. No other setting could fit more perfectly to this show which is actually based on historical mongolian - chinese struggle.

It's music is insane it is like the compilation of Chinese Mongolian and western music 😮😮😮

One of the underrated things about this song is the blending of traditional Chinese instrumentation and Mongol throat singing. I like to think this is how the composers represented the Mongol rule over China, initially Mongol but rapidly Sinicizing.

Marco Polo and house of Cards were the first series I watched on Netflix, I remember how pissed I was when it was canceled

I highly recommend that you watch this show. It is AMAZING! You will see different decor and feel different emotions from what you are familiar with.

White Scars vibes intensifies

This series was better than any Steven Spielberg's movies. Way better! I'm still satisfied with the ending of season 2 and have watched it many times. All actors were spectacular and believable. I was immersed in it. What a great work! My favorites were of course: The Monk 100 eyes, and Yusuf.

such a brilliant composure that fits the story so well... Italian bells, Chinese brass, strings, Mongolian throat and drums... just a shame the show ended, there was still enough story to tell regardless of historical accuracy...

Every time my mom would watch this tv show, (I was really young btw) she would try to skip the intro but for some reason I really liked the music and watching the ink fuse with the water. I didn’t understand the images or what was happening, I’m older now and it was way different from how I remember it

MP was my first Netflix series that I watched at the end of 2014 and I loved it.

I still resent Netflix for canceling the series out of the blue. Shame on you Netflix
