How do Automated Transactions Affect Your Account?

At Diamond Credit Union we don’t wait to post automated transactions to your account. In most cases, money will be processed in real time, on the date it is received. That includes money going out (sometimes called debits), and money coming in (sometimes called credits).

Money going out includes automatic payments that you may have set up. For example, if you give your cable company permission to take payment directly from your account, that payment will be processed as soon as we receive the request. If you want to have more control over when these items are taken from your account, please consider using Diamond’s online bill payer to set up monthly payments.

Money coming in includes items like your payroll direct deposit. If your employer sends your payroll on Thursday, it will be available in your account on Thursday. We will not hold it until Friday morning.

All this means is that at Diamond we don’t sit on your money. We move it in real time, so that you always have the most current account balance available to you when you check online banking or call in. And you never have to wait an extra day for your direct deposit.
