i never observed a scene with this much focus p.s i LOVE that music its so powerful god damn it
ОтветитьI loved this scene. Even the loud music blaring over the dialogue makes you want to inch closer to listen to the story as you normally do when talking in a club 👏🏼
ОтветитьOne of the greatest scenes of all-time. Both the dialogue & music..
ОтветитьWhat every founder needs to hear
ОтветитьI always use the phrase “the water under the golden gate is freezing cold.”
ОтветитьThis scene is my motivation to be actually successful at the university as well as later in the future after my university. Maybe I also try an own business one day
Ответитьi really like this scene cuz he so desperately wants to be like sean that sean himself even says "don't be impressed by this" but then at the end of the convo zuck asks "do you ever think about that girl?" and sean says no. but at the end of the movie zuck sends his ex a friend request cuz he never stopped thinking about her. hes just at his core not like sean. at least in the movie lmao.
ОтветитьThe sound mixing is INCREDIBLE here. It sounds LOUD in the club and yet you can hear every line of dialog clearly. Christopher Nolan should learn something from this.
ОтветитьStill more comprehensible than a Christopher Nolan movie
ОтветитьJust for the record Raymond sold the company to Wexner for $1 milion not $4 milliion.
ОтветитьThis is the Gabriel Rosso Remix, if anything is wondering.
ОтветитьI always felt they took inspiration for this scene from the first Fast and Furious movie. The Rave Desert scene in particular.
ОтветитьThis scene takes me back to the early 2000's when I was in the club with my boys, picking up chicks, dressed in destroyed A&F jeans, moose polo with a popped collar & leather flip flops
ОтветитьHe did not break the music industry by the way
ОтветитьAre they in Ruby Skye??? The Club in SF?
ОтветитьTwo douche bags who fell in love.
Ответить“the water under the golden gate is freezing cold.”
Basically means, dont do something stupid by fucking up the company early.
Roy Raymond, said he basically met the devil when he sold his company for a million. Cause after he did that everything else he did in life was failures and thats he commited suicide.
The victorias secret story is completely real. I didnt think it was but i looked up and its all real.
Ответить"This is our time" the line that changed the landscape of the 🎥 🎞 🎦 🎬 making forever.......
ОтветитьThank god the actors here were actually yelling at each other at a club unlike most films/shows that have them whispering to each other.
ОтветитьWhen Sean asks Mark what his plans for the summer are and the lyrics time up perfectly “when the sun goes down, down” and Marks look on his face. Perfect.
ОтветитьI thought Timberlake's acting was really very good in this scene....and in the whole film actually, except near the end when they're screwing Edwardo out of the company ie ' seriously what's the chicken'
ОтветитьThis scene got me into EDM.
ОтветитьIt’s kind of ironic that they’re talking about the “social network” from the online perspective … when they are in the literal last pillar of the real social scene that remained at the time where you can meet women and .. talk to them ; a night club
Ответитьsoundtrack ???
ОтветитьWhat a tune. Killer soundtrack for a superb film.
ОтветитьThe sound mixing was incredible for this scene. And Sean could see ice to an Eskimo the way he sells Mark on being the next Californian billionaire.
ОтветитьThis is the best scene of the entire film; there is no doubt about it.
ОтветитьFB was a DARPA project, this is peak propaganda
ОтветитьSorkin and Fincher should be mandated by law to work together for...ever, yes forever.
ОтветитьWhat happened to the rip?.
Ответить“They’re scared of me and they’re going to be scared of you”
ОтветитьThis scene and story is incredible sure Sean Parker changed the music industry in a way. Zuckerberg changes many other industries and you see that beginning here
ОтветитьFirst time I saw the movie in theatres, back in 2010, the energy felt during this scene, seeing it on a big screen, was unbelievable… the sound design (looking and sounding exactly as it would in a nightclub), the song The Sound Of Violence by Dennis De Laat in the background, the brilliant dialogue and the manic performances by JT and Jessie Eisenberg… WOW!!
ОтветитьTells him a parable that if he doesn't go full send into Facebook he'll kill himself, and pretends it's not a parable. Then he makes up some story about having similar motivations to create napster that Zuckerberg would relate to. And when the girls come back and could also listen in on his stories he immediately changes the subject. The shadows on JTs face making him look so evil, he's just manipulating Mark Zuckerberg so handedly.
ОтветитьWhat song is this
ОтветитьI have been diving down this rabbit whole of club scenes and tracks ever since I saw The Batman in the theater, which is why I’m here right now o.0
ОтветитьThis reminds me of one scene in the first episode of Mindhunter. David Fincher knows how to handle club scenes, specially when there’s dialogue spoken through extremely loud music. Only in case of Mindhunter, there were subtitles to indicate what the characters were saying.
Ответить"And in 20 years or so, you'll be wearing jewelry over a black t-shirt and bending over every time Donald Trump tells you to."
The sequel is going to be interesting.
Song is Sound of Violence by Dennis De Laat
Ответить2020-21
ОтветитьThey say the loud music in this scene is supposed to make us focus more on what they're saying. But for me, it's a little distracting. I think scenes with great dialogue but are quieter are more compelling.
Ответитьyeah!!!! here in 2027
ОтветитьImagine if this scene was sound directed by Nolan
ОтветитьRoy Raymond didn't "make" half a million dollar first year. Victoria's secret sold half a million worth of product, that's the revenue, not the profit.
