I know she didn’t land them all the time but when Tonya hit her triple axles they were huge, most of these girls triple jumps now are so small not explosive like back in the day
ОтветитьCheer up, welcome back!
ОтветитьЕсли сравнивать Алису с Косторной,то та ей много проигрывает по силе,энергетике и по катанию!Алиса намного интереснее.
ОтветитьAm I wrong that triple axles were not uncommon previously? What's the deal with current skaters? Frankly I would rather see skaters learn more about using their arms and leaning into choreography and stop focusing so strictly on execution points. Stop trying to convince me that all this arm waving is artistic.
ОтветитьNeed to improve artistry
Ответитьgot some great spins as well!
ОтветитьAlysa has come leaps and bounds in terms of speed and artistry. I think a VERY quick fix to her artistry that's going to make a huge difference is if she stopped smiling throughout her program -- it's a very Junior-level way of presenting to the judges. Instead, she should serve face and emotions that line up with the music.
ОтветитьPersonally - loved the choreography and felt like she was downgraded on what appeared to be perfectly acceptable jumps. Wondering if she is working on quads.
Ответить💜
ОтветитьA STAR IS BORN!!!
ОтветитьNot a bad program. She is getting better. Needs to grow in her artistry.
ОтветитьSuch improvement!! I enjoyed the choreography. Good job, my dear!
ОтветитьShe has grown so much artistically and technically why 4th place
Ответитьshe’s like a spark of fire on the ice!
ОтветитьShe should win, with a triple axel.
Ответитьyaaaawn. .
ОтветитьThis blew my mind, incredible. Perfection, life, was in this performance.
ОтветитьThe footwork are phenomenal 💙 good job💙
Ответитьi still feel she not on the senior level on performance wise nad jumping
ОтветитьAnd she did it wearing blue nail polish. Tonya was just born too soon.
ОтветитьI feel like she’s a great technical performer but artistic merit is definitely lacking. This is likely a result of the new scoring system’s emphasis on jumps over artistry.
ОтветитьThat triple axial means nothing anymore, girls are doing quads in their programs now. Twenty years too late!!!
ОтветитьShe's a lovely skater! I can't wait to see her perfect her craft as she achieves her goals!
ОтветитьIt’s interesting how the triple axel doesn’t impress them as much now. I was just watching Tonya Harding’s triple axel and the commentators went crazy when she did it. Why they don’t crazy for Lou too?! It still takes a lot for them to do it, it’s so impressive!!
Ответитьhow did the commentators hear the announcer pronounce Liu perfectly and then immediately mispronounce it?
ОтветитьThat looked like a Yukari Nakano "triple" axel....
ОтветитьShe's so cute!! Really hoping she will medal at Olympics. Imagine landing a triple axel in short program and landing in 4th. Welcome to 2021.
ОтветитьBest of the Rest....so...far...behind....RUSSIA!!
Ответитьyou have the top 3 Amazing Russians... then, you have...the amateur competition.
ОтветитьDude, fix your posture...try a clinic or camp in Moscow.
ОтветитьOMG....it is so sad for a Russian to watch this and lament the state of US figure skating...Fast food just isn't doing it for us, is it?
ОтветитьNo hate but it’s so under rotated to even be a triple but it’s not like the rest who do it, do it rotated anyway.
ОтветитьTara and Johnny, the two sideshow freaks, STFU!
Ответитьwhy is no one commenting on the fact that it was very underrotated? that was a glorified double axel, no height, no speed, and her artistry is heavily lacking, she needs a much better choreographer
ОтветитьHonestly this is boring , no wonder the Russians are going to win
ОтветитьThere's always so much energy in her routine. She is so fun and exciting to watch.
ОтветитьAll down to GOE--correct. Russian skaters, Valieva in particular, are gifted with ridiculous high GOE.
ОтветитьShe was attempting that jump at 12. A true savage!!!!!
ОтветитьShe sells this version of her short so much better than her version of it at U.S. Nationals just yesterday. I wonder what happened. Does she like her new coaching team? Is she just tired at this point in the season? Watching the two together are like night and day.
ОтветитьBaby girl got big.
ОтветитьAny one know the music used?
ОтветитьI remember the days if you landed a triple axel in competition you were nearly guaranteed to be the highest placed.
ОтветитьShe doesn’t get much air on her jumps.
ОтветитьWow, i'd say her skating skills and quality has really improved. The program had a very clean smooth feel to it, and i always love her choreography! She's a great performer.
ОтветитьShe'll be the next Olympic champion. I have the confidence she can get there
ОтветитьShe's too heavy. The Russian girls are skinnier which makes them more graceful and jump higher.
ОтветитьExcellent skating. Alysa really improved over last year. There was a lot of artistry in addition to excellent technical skills. Glad she got her triple axel back. Great comeback!!!
ОтветитьI like this choreography and music also.
ОтветитьAlysa Liu is so good at skating I wish I could be as good as her she's super talented
ОтветитьIm heart broken shes retired. Shes sooo amazing.
