FIELDWORK Part 1 of 3 | Explore Lab Research Project

FIELDWORK is a three part video that investigates the application of film/video in the architectural research process. In collaboration with Inès van Rijn, I made these videos to explore how observation using video can assist with researching a location, in this case the neighbourhood of Droixhe, in Liège, Belgium. This video, part 1, is a sequence of filmed material showing the many different facets of the site. The video attempts to represent the goings-on and atmosphere of the park on a late November day in an objective way, to the extent that that is possible.
