The bomb likely had a JDAM-type kit that required a release point over Belgorod in order to hit a target in Kharkhiv. But the glide wings never deployed, so it “glided” right into Belgorod…

What this guy won't say is the bomb was equivalent to what we use. It's a gliding bomb ment to go 47 miles at least. They have recently been upgrading the units and this was most likely a malfunction in the wings that deploy causing it to plummet to the city.

I suspect that because the glide systems for Russian bombs are relatively new. I suspect that it failed because if you think about what their target could have been in that area and the range of the guide system, it matches up pretty well. So I figure they released a bomb and the glide system did not deploy so it just fell onto the city
