ОтветитьMy wife and I actually signed a contract for that floor plan. Unfortunately, during the design process many of the choices we made (electrical, plumbing, etc.) were marked up by as much as 300% over actual cost. It was the same thing at the design center and with Camelot's vendors. Everyone added exorbitant markups. We had to cut so many items that it was no longer a house we wanted. We wound up canceling the contract, which cost us nearly $200K.
We wound up finding a custom home builder, designed our dream home from scratch on a one acre lot in a subdivision the same size as Stone Crest for about the same amount of money as the stripped down Camelot house would have cost. Approximately $3.25M.
Buyer beware of all the hidden markups and budget accordingly.
