I think there should be a limit. If my daughter wants to studie at the TU in Delft, she probably does not get a student room because the rooms are occupied by foreign students... thats just nuts...dont come here, just go somewhere else where there is not a shortage of homes/flats/rooms

The Dutch are racists, they just hide it nicely. They hate other nationalities, you can be really lonely among people here.

I think Dutch people just want a better housing market. The cheapest normal houses cost like 300k in dense areas, which we have a lot, and on your own you could only get a loan for that if you earn about 70k a year. If you rent a house you pay at least 1000 euros every month.

As an international its 50 50 i feel extremely unwelcome by the dutch even though im half dutch but i feel welcome by all the other international people. I used to speak dutch but dutch xenophobia made me hate talking the language. The Netherlands is a double faced player, they promote internationalism and welcome immigrants but then they love complaining about internationalism and immigration. Chose one u wither welcome people or u dont but dont welcome them tobhate in them for being here. I am dutch by blood and by upbringing but due to the 2003 law change i cant have double nationality so i have a spanish passport and older dutch people say im not dutch because i dont have the passport, been here 8 years speak the language i have the genes i still feel like a foreigner here

Yeah it's expensive, housing and rent and shit are trough the roof. And tbh, a huge factor in that is the internationals, the students, the expats and most controversiollay the refugees offcourse. It's a big problem. But we can't talk about it really because you are "close minded", "offensive" or "racist and a bigot" when we do so....

There a far to many internationals, please stop ruining our housing market and study in your own country. It’s not like you’re planning on fully integrating and learning the language for instance

Just to be clear, a parking garage in Amsterdam often costs like a 100k. It's nearly impossible for any Dutch student to rent any house.
If you make 3000 dollar a month, you lose about 50% to tax, instantly, no choice. Then, everything you buy costs another 20% tax, and sometimes even far more then that. So from that 3000 dollar you can keep about 1300 dollar. The rent from any house is well over that price.
This is why Dutch students live with their parents till the age of 30+, unless their parents are so rich, that they can buy or rent a house for their children.

Immigrants somehow, receive free support, get excluded from such taxes and can get a house for essentially free.
