I just realized that the double helix strand inside of it if anything, only makes the wire needed to be at least double the length of the final length of the cable. Which would reduce the signal integrity. Good job Wireworld, good job.

Definitely HDMI cable with such price is overkill but: you tested system not correctly.First,what HDMI standard support your GPU output:1.3,1.4,1.4b,2.0 or 2.1? Its much more important than any other factors.Also,you got 61 herz on all cables with 4:4:4 or some cables gives 4:2:2 ycbcr encoding parameters?? And it was 8 bit or to 10bit or 12 bit color?Its very important matter.Old cables has 18gb troughput,new 2.0 48gb!.Big difference! What hdmi standard(1.3-2.1) supports your 1000 buks cable? Its important! On my computer only display port can provide12bit 4:4:4 120 Hz.But with most modern GPU like 3080 or 4080 it can provide hdmi 2.0 or hdmi 2.1 outputs,that is exact case where you need modern hdmi cable.For 4k 120 hz or 8k 60 hz gaming etc.And again buying 1000 buks cable is good to keep wealth standard,but standard store cable for 2 buks will usally outdated and not keep 2.0 & 2.1 possibillities your modern GPU offers.Same for home theatre,only modern 2.0 - 2.1 single hdmi cable can have enough bandwith for 8K gaming on TV.

I challenged him if he could tell the difference between a dollar store HDMI cable and the $300 Monster. Keeping in mind the forum is run by the store chain and the Moderator was an employee, he agreed. Within 10min, my forum message thread vanished.

Hey not gonna say the test is wrong but i noticed a few things you could have checked to really see if these cables even made a difference 1. You should use nvidias resource manager or something that has render latency and see it as i noticed render latency causes some visual lag and 2. also like eveyone else said check other indications using that fancy new cable tester you got

Interesting. I've been doing AV for 26 years now and still have not heard of them. Long runs have definitely been the problem, so most of the time we use HDMI Baluns.

I have had sales people try and flog me the more expensive HDMI cables but frankly, I am happy with my el cheapo ALDI HDMI cable.
