Angenieux 25mm F/0,95 - The Weird Lens Review

Salut Mathieu. You tested this lens on a full frame Sony ? How about using it on a MFT like a GH2 or a 7G ? Those have a 2x crop factor and you should avoid most of the vignetting issue ?.

Beautiful image's but I don't have over a thousand U.S dollars to spare! If I did,I would definitely buy it. It's not for everyone but my style is to shoot with a very shallow dof so this would be perfect. Thank you for the review!

You should have a look at the Fujinon 25mm f/0.85 c-mount lens.

This could be good for anything with a Super-16 sensor, like the new Black Magic Micro Cinema Camera?

This would be perfect for the Micro Four Thirds cameras with its smaller sensor and 2x crop factor. This is a lot smaller than my Voigtlander 25mm 0.95 for m43.
This is why the market price for these is still very high.

What if it was mounted on a Micro Four Thirds sensor? Due to the crop factor, I imagine it will turn into a 50mm f/1.2. Am I right?

thanx for review. i use this lens on a s16 bmpcc and it's f.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c, no vignetting and light weight. i got it by ebaying for 700 bucks. with the angenieux 12-120, it's my favorite. 25mm is a really nice focal length. i can defo recommend this one.

I carried one of these lenses on a Bell and Howell, Model 70, 16mm camera when I was a combat cameraman in Vietnam... The other two lenses on the turret were 15mm and 10mm...

Did you know that some c mount lenses cover the APS sensor? Cosmicar, Computar 75mm 1.4 or even Fujinon 50mm 1.2 do this.

Hi... Mathew.. this lens would be an excellent option for Pentax Q cameras... Does it shows ghosting wide open at infinity ?

These small lenses for full frame are good IF we like to crop extreme wide aspect ratio, horizontal or vertical
As for 0.95, that can really help in low light situation.

Do you think it's good for beauty shoots x
