Idk if there has been a final with this much swimming. I kind of like it because it has thrown everyone off. They are all complaining, which means they didnt prepare for it. I like things that aren't predictable.

My strategy for the coins would’ve been to go hard the first round and count then just remember that number then not count the rest and just multiply that number by the amount of rounds especially if I was Jordan. (Maybe that’s what Jenny’s done she did say she’s not counting anymore)But I’m very competitive and I would like to try get it exactly right. But I can’t imagine how hard that would be

Do think that Wes might return to the challenge. And what about Leroy and Adam they both said that done with challenge. Leroy return to the challenge season 40 and he also return in All Star season 4 with Adam. What are the odds that Wes might return on the challenge.

I don’t like that the karma gets added at the end . Because it just discredits your athletic abilities and comes to a popularity contest - so you could beat everyone in the final fair and square and because you didn’t have the most friends or weren’t the one with the most connections in the game then you could potentially not win and that honestly is BS.

I would’ve preferred if the karma votes were invoked in the checkpoints - as advantages and disadvantages and I believe that would give each player more of a fair shot at the final .

Idk karma votes idea was trash. Especially on season 40 I want a true competitor to win not by default cause they are more liked 🙄

I think it’s super duper dangerous how much they are making them swim without being able to properly rest and eat. I’m a swimmer and water polo player- i can be in water for hourssss- but not ocean water, that’s wayyyy different. I really hope they are on land or the boat for the rest of the finals. I’m also sad to see kyland being a stinker due to his lack of strong swimming. He had such a great season just to go out like this, oof.

The Challenge really said, no Kyland, you won't be winning this final. Serves everybody right for not throwing Jordon into one elimination.....

When they found out, Superman’s downfall is kryptonite, who would’ve thought they would use it against him. When they found out Kyland couldn’t swim. They made a whole final about swimming. So I hope he takes us to heart. Getting that pool with a trainer preferably a swim coach and get his butt out there trained along with his other gym workout.

My opinion but Kyland is so overrated 🙄. I really have yet to see what the hype is all about?? He's just meh. And him pissing on that sign, was disrespectful to a game he says he's been watching and wanting to be a part of. This is the Challenge finals, learn how to swim..Again, my opinion!

Karma points are so dumb

I love the solo aspect and i wish theyd stop doing things like karma points, stars etc in finals. Why cant we just see whos the best. Why give unfair advantages in the end. I hate it

Michelle's constant complaining about the difficulty of The Challenge throughout the season is annoying. She always plays a good social game and It's like she's forgotten that she won Survivor so I don't get why she is always complaining how hard it is for her. She obviously has the grit for it.

I hope the Karma points are no more than 10% of their final score. I get why people would hate it but at the same time actions have consequences… 🤷🏽‍♂️

Everyone complaining about swimming (competitors and viewers) is blowing my mind. If you’re not good at swimming at least everything else is an equalizer. You have to be well rounded to be a champion and swimming is part of it.

Right the karma points are a good idea.

Love this final! If your job is to go on this show, you should be working on mastering all aspects of it, ie running puzzles math strength endurance swimming etc.... and they have had finals where there is tons of hiking, running, climbing, and now tons of swimming. Makes sense. Hate the Karma points smh and the fact that theyre not revealing anything until the end smells like production medling again this season smh

Im liking the final so far. Hope theres less swimming the next day. I dont mind the karma points I like that the social game is having a factor in the final score. I dont like that the karma score is ambiguous I hope when the final scores are tallied its clear how people got the karma points they got. Im nervous production is gonna inflate the points to impact who wins or not - as in they decide that first place in karma points is worth 100 points or something. I prefer more transparency in general.

I never liked Bananas but I found myself rooting for him. Maybe it's because I always liked an underdog and he's been one the past few seasons

Just like the red/gold skulls they have to try a new gimmick every now and then. Maybe they'll tweak this one a bit for the next time. The competitors performance should be the only thing that determines who wins and loses though. It should've affected money if anything. At least it's not another damn grenade lol god those sucked.

I feel like the Karma points should’ve been some sort of a penalty during the final. Now whoever reaches the finish line first, instead of being excited that they just won, they have to wait in suspense to hear who actually won based off karma votes

I love the token idea because it gives us what we want a running scoreboard, I'm afraid the karma vote is a way production can manipulate the final outcome. Hope they give out tokens for karma vote to start the next morning and not wait until the very end

This seems to be the one of hardest finals in Challenge history. All that swimming would take me out. I like that they did a water final. It's new but it couldn't be me. Another thing I understand more is why Jordan was so mad at Anessa in Ride and Dies. She was holding him back a lot doing the final. He is crashing this final.

I'm starting to feel like Kyland is a bit overrated, he's had great moments.... but he's bombed most of the puzzles his pre-confessionals hype him up over. I get having preferences and particular skill sets, but he's not proving "genius" or "human calculator".

I agree with most of you about Kyland, I was really rooting for him. It’s so disheartening to see him be so bad at swimming BUT if you think about it, he’s not been as great as expected on puzzles this season either. Im still hoping he can at least place but not beat Jordan who essentially pulled a CT by laying low throughout the season then killing it in the final!

I don't like that they didn't show us the karma pts,they can easily rigged the finals

i wonder how much this part 1 will affect the part 2. Recently winning day 1 has been a 3-5 min head start going into the final portion or something miniscule like that. if anything its the physical and mental exhaustion

karma points are so dumb. It's harder to get to a final while being an a**hole! everyone hates you, you have no alliance! and you probably made some good tv along the way. shouldn't be punished!

cara should be thankful, she's my fav, but she would've flopped and i rather her be eliminated than come dead last. also, easy to see that jordan takes the W. no spoilers needed for that, also jenny wins. this is their playground, the twist are the runner up winners. also michele showed TF UP AND OUT! next time, i bet next time they will eliminate jordan....you never take jordan nor ct to a final. AND if my prediction is right about jenny winning - she becomes a 2x champ - back to back winner! 2/3 seasons...who's doing it better? y'all are going to lay off of my girl 🙃

Jordan should win the finals but I bet you anything they are going to find some way with the karma points to get Johnny Crybaby Bananas to win

Wondering if there is an eating checkpoint at some point, Jenny will not cope well with it if she freaks out over not having her coffee.

Maybe the karma points will be added as an additional checkpoint score for each player? In order of where they came in the karma vote. But if it’s literally the number of points they got in total added on then that’s harsh.

I was so mad Cara didn’t make the Final, but I bet she glad now! She hates swimming. I don’t think anyone expected the final to consist of so much water. That’s new. I don’t like it. I think it’s just another way to favor certain people, like Jordan, “coughing “!😂

I have to agree that the karma points sound like they are going to be a popularity contest. But TJ warned everyone about how they treat everyone, SO……. I am actually excited to see how it ends. Actually praising Michelle, I think it’s time she gets a win! Derek too! Have to love the underdog!

I know most people hate them, but the truth is that Bananas, Tori and Michele carried this season on their own... Also Rachel, but she is not as hated as the others.

Michele killin it love that for her (other than the barrel thing lol that was unfortunate). Seems like it'll be her and Jenny in the top 2 spots unless something changes. I haven't really liked Jenny this season, but if she keeps consistently being first or second every checkpoint I'll be ok with her winning cuz at that point she earned it. Not a fan of the way the karma votes factor in, I think it could've been fine if it just gave someone an advantage on a checkpoint or two, but as it is I think it holds a little too much weight. I'll probably keep the finishing order as the placements in my own head if they change lol.
Side note- does anyone know what happened to Jenny's asthma? Is it a climate difference not triggering it as much? Are they just not showing it? I feel like during the season she was heaving on things close to or even less cardio-involved, but this whole final she's seemed totally fine.

If there was ever a final that Cara could maybe be ok with missing out on, it'd probably be this one. Made me less disappointed not to see her when I saw how much swimming was involved.

Even if the production team made the whole final challenges on land, Jordan will still beat Derek, Kyland and Bananas by a mile.

Karma Vote is the worst thing to happen to Finals. Literally it defeats the purpose of the competition cause now LOSERS gets to decide who WINS. Think of that LOSER gets to decide who WINS. It has nothing to do with being nice, last season players was voted because they were Gay, this season players are not being given points because they ALREADY WON MONEY. Oh yeah that was Leroy taking about Bananas. These producers is dumb. Also at least split the final half swimming and half on land. Although Jordan most likely going to win anyways. Same as Laurel last season. But now Jenny can get screwed over some stupid karma votes.

Jenny did say she had just started her period too during the start of the final. Sorry but I’d be the same way.

The karma of Laurel saying Michele isn’t going to make the final during the karma point segment was truly beautiful

I love swimming, i do not love this much swimming for a final. Yes its unqiue, but it definitely favors. Kyland is very well round but as we found out can't swim. We need finals that have more ability of back and forth. Kyland got a good trip i guess 😞

If we take previous series mechanics into account, Karma Points will probably end up not making a difference in the end and will be a lame game element that is hyped up all season and then has no pay off

I think people forget that tori is actual trash in finals to be real
