great video but i was a little confused about the relationship between the pH and the pKa. if you're confused like me here's what i found If pH < pKa: The environment is more acidic than the drug’s pKa, resulting in a higher proportion of the drug being in the non-ionized form (better absorption for acidic drugs).
If pH > pKa: The environment is more basic than the drug’s pKa, resulting in a higher proportion of the drug being in the non-ionized form (better absorption for basic drugs).
Thank you so much for the breakdown! 🎁👍🏼🫶🏼

ОтветитьWhen he says high concentration to low concentration such and such, what concentration is he referring to?concentration of what
ОтветитьFirst time i learn the topic with concept.amazing description with good knowledge.Have a long Life...😊😊
ОтветитьThank you , you are the best teacher and doctor ever♥♥♥♥
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьThank you so much🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьYou don't know how helpful you are🥹🩷
ОтветитьI don’t really care how he explains it and he knows to a extent what he’s talking about it seems, but when it all boils down to it all drugs are poison, yes some folks swear by them ect ect..but if the governments didn’t allow so much exposure to the other poison’s that help to cause so much disease in the first place there would be less need to take all this rubbish in the first place and for those who don’t know what I mean by the other poison’s I shouldn’t have to explain but here goes all the fast food restaurants and all the alcohol outlets and tobacco shops all the gambling stores and much more they are out there in abundance and don’t need to be so prominent in the communities..that’s it I’ve said my bit…..
ОтветитьThank you so much ❤

ОтветитьMan ! First time i learned something 10X effortlessly. Thanks a lot sir.🤍
ОтветитьEnjoyed it sir thank you very much
Ответить❤❤ good on the graph of bioavailability if the end points intersect it signify the (Area under the curve) AUC is the same, but if not vice versa is true... 😊😊

Ответить"peeing out the poop hole...'😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьIs there a challenge in a person with low blood volume in terms of drug absorption?
ОтветитьIf a drug is small and hydrophobic, but it is in an area of low concentration, will it go through the cell membrane smoothly to the higher concentration area, or will it need a protein transporter as well as a large and hydrophilic drug?
ОтветитьIf Vd is high, less plasma concentration... It is said we need a good concentration in blood to have desired effect.
What I'm confused is if we are targeting a tissue and when there is less concentration of drug in blood as more of it reached to the targeted tissue - doesn't it means good response even when plasma concentration is lower than desired?
We need good plasma concentration until it reaches the targeted tissue? Do we calculate the time it takes to reach the tissue and see whether or not plasma concentration is maintained till that time so it reaches the tissue?
I feel like I'm missing some point here. Please help.
really you did great job.,, thank u so much 🙏
ОтветитьThank you you are great
ОтветитьThanks sir , it's very helpful
ОтветитьI finally understand lipid soluble and water soluble. Thank you.
