Giant pitchers easily have the best WHIP in Spring Training games this year. Considering how many non-roster guys are out there, I feel like that's quite an accomplishment. I also heard someone remark - not certain of the source - that "their AAA staff this year might be better than some MLB staffs." Don't be surprised, although injuries are often the great equalizer!

Whoever was in charge of on-screen stats and graphics needs some help. When Yaz went deep the graphics said (1) when he has more than one home run this Spring. When Chapman went deep it said (0) and when Villar went deep it said Ramos (1). NBC went 0-3 on the home run accuracy.

I am impressed. A strong spring can be meaningless. I would argue that because some of their core fundamental work(small ball, putting the ball in play) is impacting the score, it could carry over really well. If not for the 4 lazy runs allowed in the 9th over the last 2 games, the GMEN would be just 2 runs behind in plus run diff. of the Cubs who lead all teams. Giants 2nd.

I like it! I'm feeling we're gonna have a good, October-Bound season.
