It's a sad commentary on the state of our society when most of the votes blame the President. Regardless of what Trump said or did, he did not throw one rock, set fire on one car, or block one highway. Where is personal responsibility and respect for property and other people? Only the protesters and rioters are responsible for their behavior. "Mostly peaceful protests" are among the dumbest words ever uttered. Only "totally peaceful protests" are acceptable and legal.

Looting, arson, and assault are not free speech. The left causes 99% of our political violence.

The number of protesters is small & there is an even smaller group that is intentionally being violent. It is trump who inflamed the situation: 1. He is blowing it out of proportion & lying saying he's "saving" LA, 2. instead of working with the mayor & Newsom, he tries to inflame things & lie about what actiins they are taking, 3. He intentionally creates drama & fear by arresting undocumented, but working, immigrants.

I missed the poll but agree with ZERO. DJT is not able to let it be about the true heros. It's just not in him. I think the country has to embrace the fact that he is not capable of standing down for a greater cause even in the face of truth.

To start with why everytime someone tells the truth or certain media outs provides extensive coverage to show the complete story it is considered left wing just because it is in direct conflict with what Trump and right leaning media is covering with only verbal reporting
and lack of live on scene video commentary. We all know where the blame lies at least those of us who have common sense. Again it is deflection( Big Beautiful Budget Bill), media spot light for Trump, appealing to his maga's, maga's, and bashing the Democratic Party! Same old same old. I'm not if American's will wake up in time to understand our Democracy is severely at RISK.!

I would prefer without violence as it only further inflames the current environment. Trumps dictatorial responses incite but we know that is also a diversion from what is really going on in the background. The media is not helping at all.

Smerconish's "voting" audience is so seriously biased and "woke". These questionnaires responses do NOT represent the middle, as Michael attempts to do...just like the protestors across this country...they have the time to protest because they don't work and likely recipients of governmental handouts. Why doesn't the media do surveys at these protests as to who these protestors are?

These aren't protests. They're riots of intimidation to thwart the lawful execution of Federal law. The LA government and the Governor are pandering to illegal aliens because they've let so many vote. It's a complete undermining of the U.S. election system.
