Two of my favorite CF books: Havah and Demon: A Memoir by Tosca Lee. Both of these are just powerful and mind-blowing books that helped me get closer to God and understand him in a new way. I agree with a lot of the books on your list--This Present Darkness and The Shack were also both super-powerful. I read This Present Darkness as a teenager and it definitely made my faith more real.

My Dear Friend I read Lul's Cafe Thank you for this beautiful story. I had a hard time reading the beginning of the book telling about Lea's first marriage there was so much suffering there 😪😪 but then it only got better 😄😄😄. I heard about the forest fires in Canada I hope you and your loved ones are safe. ❤️❤️❤️

The Testament was a fantastic novel. Very different for Grisham. I stopped reading his book years ago. But that one stayed with me.

I'm normally not of fan of contemporary but I really did like submerged! I think Nicholas Sparks is a Christian.

I don't know if you know this but Harlequin has clean and faith based books now. I have enjoyed quiet a few. They are under Love inspired and heartwarming romances. Thanks again for good recs!

There is a Christian author named Robert Whitlow that is being compared to frank peretti and John Grisham. He writes fiction that revolves around fictional court cases, if you're into legal fiction. This present darkness is SO GOOD. Piercing the darkness is good too.

My book is similar to 'This present darkeness' except in that book the angels feared the demons, but in my book the demons fear the angels and God. The novel is entitled, 'The War.' It managed to reach #10 on the Amazon New Release Best Sellers list. We just had a great book signing at Barnes and Noble where we sold 13 paperback copies and 1 Kindle copy. The War is an action packed novel. It starts off with the war in Heaven, and seeing Lucifer kicked out into the earth. He and his minions declare 'The War' for the souls of man and attempt to drag as many humans into hell with them before the final judgment is carried out. Then thousands of years later in present time, God sends a veteran Warring Angel named Cazzbein to earth to watch over a young detective named Ethan Brooks. God has a divine purpose for Ethan that will change the course of the war, but first Ethan must survive the underhanded tutelage of his 2 corrupt training officers. They either want Ethan to go down the road to ruin with them and enter their world of corruption or they will get him killed. There are dramatic sword fights and battles in the spiritual realm where the angels and demons fight for Ethan.
