Although in most cases #1 and #12 are true, the most intelligent individuals will try to find companies that accept what they are doing. Honesty is always the best policy. If you keep it a secret, when it comes out it can result in you losing one or both jobs. You may or may not even qualify for unemployment potentially. My advice would be to save one income entirely (the larger one if possible) so that you don't grow accustomed to that pay. That way even if you lose the higher paying job you can still survive on the lower paying one and you have a ton of savings. Do not expect to be able to work 2 remote jobs forever. I think the best way to take advantage of this is to use it to pay debt and then save.
ОтветитьJesus saves. Love you guys.
ОтветитьHopefully your spouse doesn't see your W2 if you're keeping it a secret.... Probably a better singles game.
ОтветитьI'm going to give this a go. Apathetic software engineer with 8 years of experience here.
Ответить1 - dont talk about working two job
2 - dont fall in love with your jobs
3 - do your own research
4 - have a clear defined goal
5 - have an exit strategy
6 - get what you want by giving people what they want
7 - be average - dont get attention
8 - take care of yourself first
9 - have no ego
10 - live to another day
11 - always seek to self-improve
12 - dont forget rule number 1
“Don’t tell your spouse” at the end invalidates any good advice mentioned in the previous 4 minutes. Working 2 full time jobs and hiding it from your spouse is completely unrealistic
