ОтветитьI'm still waiting for the reupload of the penguin video
ОтветитьThis girl is kinda annoying...
ОтветитьDid scarecrow make it to 2025?
ОтветитьAlgorithm buried this one from me and I’m very upset
ОтветитьI come for the cultural artifacts and stay for the choice selection of music used throughout.
ОтветитьThe battle network music was an amazing touch :D
Ответитьmissing hazel today...
Ответитьget on blue sky
ОтветитьCatnapped omg ❤
ОтветитьI love you Hazel
ОтветитьI've been waiting to hear the words "psyduck is a platypus confirmed" for so long
ОтветитьMake another video maam.
Ответитьi got really scared when you said the words "tentacle shenanigans" and then hard cut to a 90s anime kid's face
ОтветитьCalifornia Crisis is so fucking good, back in my jazz fusion phase it was like a gold mine. Check out katsumi Horii which uses Suzukis artwork, theyre so good. What I really love though is that it has this japanese nostalgia of California in the 1960s. In the 1980s there seemed to be a nostalgia for america in japan. Like Suzuki traveled all across America from the 1980s to now and sort of dedicated his art to this nostalgia. I mean ive never seen LA streets be depicted in such a beautiful and mesmerizing way.
Ответитьthis video took so much work. tysm
ОтветитьSi
ОтветитьI paused this video to watch the What’s Michael? song and wonder if anyone else knew it existed only to come back to the video and immediately be confronted with the song again
I feel like I’ve been psyoped somehow
this video is great to rewatch and have on as noise while i do other stuff. im always a little taken back by how hopeful the ends of hazel's videos always feel. it's really nice.
Ответитьkennel tokorozawa has nothing on "Inukai's dog". literally nothing. no less than nothing. Kennel is start up puritanical in comparison, are you kidding me?
ОтветитьI've read a bit of Violence Jack and it's really good despite how over the top it was. I had no idea they animated any of it.
ОтветитьYou absolutely love to see the Demenza cameos in here
ОтветитьYou never fail to amazel!
Ответитьso are you pretending to be old or is like, 31 suddenly old now
ОтветитьI'm literally less than 2 minutes into this video and the brief clip of Catnapped totally set the tone for me, I have such distinct memories of the bizarre commercial that would play after other movies or tv show episodes on VHS! Someone else said it was on the Sailor Moon R movie VHS, but I'm convinced it was included with a VHS of Rainbow Brite episodes or "The Magical World of Gigi" (which was a Minky Momo OVA).
ОтветитьHOME MOVIES MENTIONED!!!!
ОтветитьScarecrow is the only thing i miss about living in seattle. May it live forever.
ОтветитьMan, there's quite alot of interesting pieces of obscure anime history here, all in this one video. This is truly a fascinating watch, if you ask me!
...and yeah, I think I can go without learning what that last one is if it's really that bad.
😊
ОтветитьHome movies edit was perfect.
ОтветитьThat Sheetz jumpscare
ОтветитьThe niche tattoo part in the beginning was way too fucking relatable 💀😂 I was going to get one of sayonara o oshiete for the fact of the visually appealing yet obscure nature 💀
ОтветитьThis video reminded me of Ookumo-chan Flashback which I think I came across in part thanks to this channel,
but the video appears to be gone.
"Then they decided to cook with poop..."
Ответитьthe deadly premonition fishing theme really punched me in the face
ОтветитьDidn't expect California Crisis to be in here
I literally watched it because I saw the cover and thought it looked cool
God ty for talking about Catnapped! I saw a commercial for it on a rented DBZ VHS (I think?? I was 6!) and I of course forgot the name and nobody knew wtf I was talking about you saved my life ty
ОтветитьCheck it. California Crisis is a Cherry Coke anime somehow! Believe it! Look up 80s style cherry coke commercials er images. It also somehow reminds me of a early 90s driving video game. 😅😅😅
Please 🙏 look up cherry coke 80s images for a cherry coke and a smile 😃
I LOVED catnapped and recommend it to everyone. Was one of my favourite movies as a kid, and my dad got it cuz he was a huge anime nerd and loved Akira. I was so so lucky I am still shocked to this day.
