Iceland Volcano Eruption Update; New Eruption Begins, Lava Expands Westwards

A new volcanic eruption has just begun in Iceland, causing multiple millions of cubic meters of lava to quickly be emplaced. This has caused multiple lava flow lobes to be generated, one of which may soon overflow a paved road to the west. However, due to the early date the eruption occurred at, this eruption of Iceland's Reykjanes volcano is likely to be smaller than several prior eruptions.
