Did the El Roy get discontinued? I was thinking of purchasing one from bikes online in Australia but it just vanished and never came back.

So I've been dreaming about building a hardtail and then I realized you already did it

Does it have enough clearance for a 203 mm rotor upgrade in the back?

Love my el roy but I really wish yall would make a size smaller size with maybe a 10 or 20mm shorter reach. As a 5'8" rider it requires a lot of muscle to bunny hop this beast

Hey, I think about getting the frame only, can I run it with 160mm fox 36?
My concept is that with proper 20% sag the geo is actually like around of 140 mm fork..

Hello,
I'm interested about the frame kit, I would like to know what size is the seat tube? What kind of bottom bracket it is and its size? Last question, does the bike accept a 1 1/2 1 1/8 fork?
Thx a lot

I've used this thing as a daily driver all of 2023 -- it is RAD with a capital R. It can handle enduro, trail, XC...whatever you ask of it. Best endorsement I can give is my very sweet Chromag Stulus has stayed in the garage while I've pulled this thing out daily. I ran it with 2.6 Butcher T9s both ends (plus CushCore) and now I'm running 2.6 DHF/Dissector. Super stable speed limo. It's like a big freeride GS ski...the more speed you feed it, the more it comes alive! Awesome job Marin :)

Hey guys! Just wondering how the 2023 Marin Alpine Trail XR climbs? Sick channel love the bikes.

Just while you guys are here:

I’m a small MTB channel looking to grow. Was wondering how I could get a test bike from you guys to do a review? If not, I completely understand, it’s a lot to ask for a free bike 😂

Anyways thanks for answering my questions!

Sincerely,

Fishyy.

It's a very good bike, I wanted to buy it but what puts me off is the blue color. I don't like this blue, I find it ordinary. I wanted to buy (in France) the previous model in black but it was sold out. Is there a new model planned in a new color?

Such great Geo on the Hardtail! (External routing #1! also just replaced all 10 bearings on linkage of my alpine trail, phewf!) I was wondering if anyone has tested or checked clearance for 650bx3.0? its nice to have a plus bike here in Alberta for milder winter days, then a shred-mobile hardtail for summer fun! My wife who is 5ft7 has ridden my 21 Alpine Trail XL before no problems, the reach is deceptively short with a steep seat tube and slack Head tube, old Reach and wheelbase numbers are so different with STA\HTA like that, me want!!

A Marin San Quentin in steel would be awesome.

One of the only few bikes I would love to own only because of the Steel frame, and the other is the Pine Mountain.
