Indian economy is going downhill. Ours is the worst performing stock market on the planet. Karachi stock exchange performs far better than BSE & NSE. FIIs are taking away their investments DAILY for last several months. The Government has no clue and talking politics. Economics is not only based on over-confidence, it needs remedial measures. Rise in Capital Gain tax has initiated this outflow of FII. When China is infusing stimulus packages, we are quietly observing the bloodbath in our markets. Arnab, in stead should ask hard questions on present economics crisis.

One question I would have asked is this. I think every regressive course pursued by the local opposition parties and politician fuels the China-pakistan axis to perpetuate aggressions on our country's border on a😢 regular basis which forces the country to invest huge resources on military preparedness and actions at the border. This robs away the scarce resources that could be used otherwise for various welfare measures in the country. Of course on account of this dynamics India has become one of the militarily powerful nations in the world arena. But Is this a good development ? Is this good enough at the cost of over spending for defence at the cost of local welfare measures particularly when foreign investments have become necessary for sustaining programmes like " vocal for local" "start ups" under MSME sector " Health related Ayushman scheme" etc.? Should we not take strict actions against those who indirectly influence foreign powers to put our country in a difficult spot almost on a continuous basis ?

Govt. Taxes are too high. gst st 18 persent? No doubt govt now is rich by excess of taxation. So social security system yet for the growing and ageing population. No medical help from govt scheme.
