If I could have one wish I would wish that all humanity would lose the obsession with drugs and alcohol. If all humans on Earth just stopped, craving it or being addicted to it or having to have it affect their life at all. Just imagine drugs and alcohol didn't exist except for in the medical field or when it actually helps us
ОтветитьYou need to just buy the whole car from them
Ответить1969 Ranchero Squire is rare! Too bad the wood trim is all gone.
ОтветитьI'd love to grab all that glass as spares for my 66. 4 door specific stuff is unobtanium.
ОтветитьThe horn ring is a 66 piece. If it came on the car, it would be an early build car. The engine may be a 273 with solid lifters. You may want to check.
ОтветитьEven if this was the only UTG video I ever saw, I would know that you are a real hands on guy because at no point in poking around bare handed in the mouse and mold infested Mopar did you glove up or mention the smell.
ОтветитьSweet cars. There’s a big mopar junkyard near me, here in Oregon.
ОтветитьThat’s a fox body t-bird
ОтветитьDo the smart thing and buy the entire car, then you have it all.
ОтветитьMy dad had one of those 5.0 thunderbirds when I was a little kid, he called it the thinderchicken 😅 he liked it but a 2 door coupe became impractical by about the 3rd kid 😆
ОтветитьGreat video! Me and a buddy used to spend days at the junk yards here in San Diego going to all around sweeping looking for parts pulling parts for various projects or parts for friends buddy's looking for parts great times, the hunt we called it, back in the 90s early 2000s before most the classics just didn't show up anymore
ОтветитьI'm assuming they won't sell you the entire car.
ОтветитьMan I know some people that would buy all of those Jeep Libertys/Dodge Nitros for parts
ОтветитьHey it's Ivan, glad you got to check out the Coronet. I got to it on Saturday and found four silver dollars, a bunch of 8 track tapes, and a pack of Jimmy Dean baseball cards unopened from 1993 in the back seat, Nolan Ryan was the cover card. I bet that car was a storage unit by the 90's. Found a few capacitors in the toolbox in the trunk. Thanks for showing off the car to your viewers, I hope they will use the parts. Junk yard trips are freakin fun even if you don't haul away any gems, it's a good time none the less.
Ответитьprobably 25 yrs since I popped a trunk a found a stuffed tool box - still have some of the craftsman!
ОтветитьI’ve got a nearly identical car but the 2 door hardtop version. Same color, drivetrain, etc. It’s a time capsule just like this one all the way down to original keys/owner’s manual/coors beer cans under the front seat.
ОтветитьSeems like this u pull it can’t get any car year right !!!!
ОтветитьI hate people, this was a save-able car.
ОтветитьThose early B bodies are the best looking cars Chrysler made IMO. Love my '66.
ОтветитьWe had that car on property for awhile, before we sent it out in the yard
ОтветитьTony question about your rustoleum paint. I see you use it to paint your heads as well. How does it hold up to the heat? And is that the oil based paint? You are using?
ОтветитьIvan's a good friend!
ОтветитьHonestly that Ranchero looks more 1970. There is a big difference in the front ends, that front end looks like the 70 Torino.
ОтветитьWhy don't you buy the whole vehicle, people will hit you up for what you don't use and save?......
ОтветитьBring the hole thing, keep the best and sell the rest to pay off your parts like you did many years.
ОтветитьBefore I die(age 72) one of my dreams is to ressurect an old Lincoln Towne Car...
ОтветитьHOWdy U-T-G, ...
PICK-A-PART

I had that R/C Trans Am toy when I was a kid. I’m 53
ОтветитьLambchop woulda went and got those parts for ya... LOL!
✌😎
I think that 5.0 TBird has a unique 8.8 axle housing. It's got the large drum brakes and 3.08 gears. What is unique is the distance flange to flange. Other fox body 8.8s seem to have the same flange to flange length. The 87-88 TBird has a wider flange to flange and longer axles. The 99-04 SN95 cars are also wider flange to flange, but I don't think they are the same width as the 87-88 TBird drum brake 8.8s. Interestingly the 87-88 Turbo Coupe 8.8s have the same flange to flange length as the 86-98 Mustang GTs.
ОтветитьSome must die so others can live.......
ОтветитьI just rescued a 2dr hardtop '68 Chevelle from Purkey's salvage yard on the Oklahoma-Kansas state line outside of Coffeyville. The yard is so old it has stuff all the way back to the 40's and even a handful of 30's. There's an old closed dirt racetrack next to it and some of the old racetrack equipment is still there. This yard is incredible! He's selling whole cars and stuff is disappearing fast. However, I suspect he's possibly crushing, too. People! Get out there and buy these cars before it's too late!
ОтветитьMy pull-a-part in PA got almost a clone of this car in recently, only its a 66
ОтветитьI got one of those junk R/Ts … 😂
ОтветитьTony, I don't think you'd manage without fan shrouds if you lived in the southwest
Ответитьman I wish I could go back to the 70's and 80's and buy up all the old muscle cars out of the junkyards! I'd be a billionaire if I could!
ОтветитьWhich yard is this one?
ОтветитьBUY IT UNCLE TONY ❤️
ОтветитьGun boats in drydock!!
Love em my friend!!
the part yards around here are crap. they barely have anything past the 2000’s
ОтветитьThats my grandpas car...He used to smoke ganja in there...while talking about the meldet stones from the 👽
ОтветитьHave you ever heard of Billy (BIG DEAL) Jacobs was a old timer factory sponsored racer Enterprise Al.
Ответить67' Coronet RT 440 is a beautiful car
ОтветитьFix the car 4 door, 318 engine, auto, could bring some nice jingle. You're still a mechanic right? Not just a u-tube star?
ОтветитьTony, it's a jewel, don't be a fool, get the trailer and make the move.
ОтветитьTony, WTH is the matter with you even mentioning a damn (fix-or- repair-daily)
ОтветитьWas that T-BIRD the year they started with the airbags on the rear end? My son bought one, I think around that model year that was bagged. He drove it maybe 2 months and the air bags blew out. The new bags with Labor were going to cost more than the car was worth. Sadly, after he scrapped it. A friend of mine who was a 🚛 trucker told me, the bags off a junkyard tractor trailer could be adapted. I don't know if that's true because my son had already scrapped the Bird.
Ответить"C'mon Mopar guy, you should be able to find that!"
-THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! 😆
might be US wrenches
