Excellent job! The words were very well done. Joseph can be overlooked as others have said. His step of faith and obedience to take Jesus as his son is such an example to us. Even in the face of the ridicule that would follow, Joseph stood up for the Truth.

I think the reason he isn't spoken much of is because you don't hear much from Him in the Bible. I don't think it was Written where he said anything. But I think the reason why, was for God to be the complete focus of who Jesus's Father really Is. Joseph was His earthly father who helped raise Him, and because we are earthly too, so it strikes our curiosity. But I believe things are the way they are for a purpose.. to draw the complete focus to God. But really that's how it should be.
One day when we all go to Heaven, I look forward to talking to Jesus and talking to SO MANY others too, whether it's people I know, historic people who were Saved, people from other countries who laid down their life for Christ, and people from the Bible. But one day we can talk to Joseph too.

Keep in mind Mary, Joseph and later the disciples were all VERY young people. Mary couldn't have been any older than 16, Joseph was maybe 18 max. The courage God gave them, and their willingness to follow and obey the Will of God both is an excellent example for all of us.

Joseph's response BEFORE the angel spoke to him in the dream, was telling. He chose to treat Mary in a gentle manner in handling things quietly. As it is written, Joseph was a righteous man. God ordained and chose exactly the best for His only begotten Son. He and his life are an example of a righteous man. An example to all.

Not only was Joseph an example to us of a godly father and husband, I always considered Joseph to have the greatest faith in the Christmas story. Zechariah pretty much asked Gabriel " How do I know you're telling me the truth?" (Luke 1:18) Mary asked "How will this happen?" (Luke 1:34) But Joseph essentially said to the angel of the Lord, and to the Lord Who sent him, "Yes, sir." Joseph woke from sleep and obeyed. No questions asked. Oh for faith like Joseph.
Thank you for this song which I just discovered in God's perfect timing, two days before Easter.
