it is true the is3 is essentially a one-man killing machine, in fact i can actually remember when i first started War Thunder during 2015 it was the is3 and is4m that everyone feared comeing across, because from my understanding back then those tanks were pretty much unkillable, but nowadays those sorts of russian heavy tanks kind of suffer the same way as the mouse, you get constant up tears and you are facing heat, and tanks really you shouldn't be facing, but i do like the (is3) and the (is 4-m) and the (T10m) and pretty good extent the (t-34 100)

Fave tank is probably T-34-57-1943, the turret is trolly enough to the point your only weakspot is the giant neck that is very hard to hit with high and medium caliber guns.

i play midtier (imo 5.0-8.0) so that's where my top 5 would be centered. the t3485, obj 120, zsu572, su100p and object 268 are all vehicles ive superbly enjoyed. the t3485 is an underdog with an incredibly satisfying gun, the 120 and 100p are punchy glass cannons, the 57-2 obliterates everything and the 268 is basically a jagdtiger that reaches medium tank speeds with a 14.5 to deal with soft targets.

Now that the IS-3 is 7.3 I honestly prefer the IS-4. 7.7 can be a bit oppressive for it sometimes but the armor is a lot more consistently good and can even stop HEATFS sometimes, while the IS-3 is basically just a punching bag for heat vehicles in an uptier. Also the IS-4 actually has a better power/weight ratio and higher top speed than the IS-3, although the higher weight and less impressive (though still decent) reverse gear can hamper it a bit.

Finally the KV-1S(peed) gets the credit it deserves. Plus the roundy turret sometimes tanks shots even better than the square ones.

Not mentioning the Su-152 Su-57B Su-85 Asu-57 and Su-100 is basically a Crime to the Soviet Union

in mid tier:
T55 8.7 with Drozd APS, considering the amount of ATGMs in this BR, its a really good tank.
T-10M, one of the best APHEs in game and STAB, two HMG, decent mobility, decent armor.
ZSU 37-2 best AA in its BR.
T54 7.7 basically a better T44-100, better armor and reload rate.

After playing against Russia. Yes, there is bais. Aka the bugs are in their favor.

Russian bias isn't true, it's enemies suck and don't play Russian tanks so therefore don't know their weaknesses.

Don´t forget the best italian 4.7 tank the Breda 501

Can't believe i didn't know about that 18kph reverse speed on the KV-S, how could i be so blind as to skip it🤦‍♂️. But the T-34-85 just makes me wish i was playing a sherman instead (not the jumbos, the jumbos suck ass). And to a lesser extent with the 76mm T-34s, shermans are just so much more comfortable to play despite having slightly lower stats in armor, firepower, and mobility.

Idk what I’m doing wrong just started playing ground recently but tanks that I see take some really good dmg I die always in 1 shot no matter what armor or whatever I have it’s wild I think I’m just destined to stay as a air rb guy
