Hi! I just purchased the triangle shaped battery. I'm going to run both batteries. Stocked and new triangle battery. Would have to get the xt90 cable and the dual battery extension cable as well. Don't the dual battery cable extension have anti shockable features like the xt90 cable
ОтветитьDo you have a recommendation for upgrading a Engwe E26? Looking for a plug and play controller to go to a 52V bigger ah battery if possible. Or even a way to purchase a splitter to use a second battery. Thanks so much, great vid!!
ОтветитьThank you brother man
ОтветитьHi Kyle, great on upgrading an ebike battery. I'm just about to buy my first ebike in a couple weeks. I found a decent Jasion 27.5" for under $900 CAD. The battery is only 36V 10A.
Is that a really low end spec. or is that good for just 20KM distance trips?
I'm gonna need an ebike guy and you sound very smart. Thanks I will be needing advice!!! lol Thanks man :)

ОтветитьI am living in east Africa Ethiopia my bike battery is became weak if i want to change how can I get it's 48v/8Am also cani use more voltage battery for the same bike ? Am happy if u give me clue! Since want to buy ! Thanks.
ОтветитьI want to upgrade my speed
ОтветитьLooking for the simplest ways to up the power on bike
ОтветитьGreat video! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
ОтветитьI have a Speedrid Electric Bike, 26" 4.0 Fat Tire Electric Bike for Adults 500W 48V 10.4Ah Battery, 7 Speed. I purchased a 48V 20Ah battery. My issue is, the controller for the bike is attached to the cradle of the old battery. What are your best recommendations?
ОтветитьThis may have been covered before, but do you have a link for the large battery bag?
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. You seem to explain things pretty well. Haven’t purchased a bike yet, looking. Just subbed!
ОтветитьLove the content and level of detail.
ОтветитьXXX tra large!! I have the Rad step through and did the 35amp upgrade and just received the 40amp battery blender, just waiting on new 48v 10ah battery. Im looking to do a 1000w hub motor with rim replacement if you have any recommendations that would be great. I love your content, keep up the good work!!
ОтветитьI have an old Land Rover G4 mountain ebike with suspension. I think the bike is cool, and I'd like to make it work again. What battery/controller setup would you recommend?
Ответить👍🏽
Ответитьmy originl battery is 48v but can i use a 36v battery instead ? The 36v battery has more amp hours ?
ОтветитьDo not use soft casing , use only solid Al casing which disable any mobments which can cause short in wiring and damage of cells. Never take battery of for no reason and drop on concrete , that will cause damage, fire, explosion???
ОтветитьCan you tell me what are the connectors at each end of the cable please?
ОтветитьMake it sound like it so easy..
ОтветитьA 52 volt and 48 volt CAN be connected in parallel with the parallel connection module. The load will be on the 52 volt until it drains to the fully charged 48 volt. Then the load will drain off both batteries until the 52 volt reaches its low cutoff. Then the module will only run off the 48 volt until it's discharged. Most 48 volt controllers will handle up to 60 volts so the 52/48 volt combo with the module will work perfectly. If you're unsure open your controller and check the capacitors. Most are rated up to 60 volts.
This works quite well. It gives the speed advantage of the higher voltage of the 52 volt battery AND you get the extra capacity of keeping the 48 volt battery in the system.
Can you tell me if it works on a Jasion electric bike?
ОтветитьI believe the term for the type of circuit for the parallel battery connector is a battery management system or battery balancing board.
ОтветитьBut it can be easily stolen
Ответить4 years ago, updating bike battery
Appreciated, while 2 questions arose.
1) You said, you can't run together a 52V with a 48V. While your part you suggested, can handle differently charged batteries. It's confusing, since a 48V battery is only half charged, it offers maybe 42V. So I don't see why a 52V part, cant handle a 52V and a 48V battery?
2) Just placing an universal battery without any characteristics checking, makes me feel coward, for I am afraid to use alien, double capacity powertool battery of the same voltage, while I would need it badly. It's the same concept, fits and works perfectly, but I am afraid to use it
They tell me about starting up ampers or what else?
What do you think? If it works, and it does, anything could go wrong?
With the bike battery, it doesn't seem to matter. It's because power tools don't have controllers? Thanks, if you have time to say Yes/No .
Hello could I run a 52v battery setup with a stock controller for a rad mission 1 ?
ОтветитьVery interesting. If you fit a bigger battery, will it give you more power to climb hills?
Ответитьthe PROPRIETARY EBIKES HAVE KILLED THE EBIKE INDUSTRY.. Bosch, ShimanoSTEPS, etc... the motor and the battery have chips that talk to each other, and without the "matching battery" the motor will not spin..
Look at what happened to BionX.. they had a high end motor, and matching proprietary battery... the BionX battery was about 3-4 times the cost to replace.. Then GE asked them to partner on a ebike partnership.. GE placed an impossible production demand the BionX would not be able to fulfill.. So GE sued BionX out of business. the good news is their motors are so good they will run another 80k miles.. but because they no longer make the proprietary BionX battery.. there is no longer a way to power that amazing motor.. (thanks GE).. So bike owner have great motors and old batteries that they must put in Hazmat landfills that contaminate the soil/water.. TOXIC WASTE.
Always choose a non proprietary ebike/battery system.. And if you plan to tour over seas.. you won't have quick access to replacement parts on proprietary systems.. Ask Kino Yves that is on a recumbent e-trike tour across Africa and can't find a replacement battery for his proprietary mid drive system. So he is really struggling up those hills with a rear rack loaded down..
Keep doing a great job man I'm looking to bump my battery up you been a huge help
ОтветитьHI will that fit a hi-boy p6? If my top speed is 28mph now, about how much faster will my hi-boy p6 be with your battery?
Thanks
Love my e bikes and scooters, have been riding my gogobest gf 750 as My daily commute to work for over 5yrs all weather warrior.
ОтветитьHi I'm new to your channel...keep up the good work
ОтветитьReally good stuff. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for thehelp
ОтветитьThanks for the great tips. Would any damage/ degradation result from using the 52V battery on a system originally designed for 48V?
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьI'm looking for a switch to select one battery or the other. I can't peddle very well, so I want a spare battery so I can be sure I can get home.
ОтветитьLove to have a tshirt plz. Awesome channel
ОтветитьFriend, help me understand. When I replace the battery this way, do I need to upgrade my 48V controller? How do I find out if my 48V controller is also compatible with a 52V battery?
Another question: Do I need to access the controller menu to change this in my e-bike system? Or will the controller automatically recognize the 52V battery once I connect it?
My controller is hidden under the seat. I’d like to know its capacity. Is there a way for me to find out?
im looking to add a second battery to my ebike. and the connector on your website is the smallest one i could find, and the only one with xt90 connectors. I will be getting that.
ОтветитьHey, how's it going?
What is the specific connection on the battery/mounting plate with the original cord, that converts to the original bike connection that connects to the motor? I believe that I have the same one as you and do not want to rewire the bike as the manufacturer of the new battery suggests. Is there a specific converter? Any information or tips would be helpful,
thank you so much!
What if it's a 48v 13a . And I buy a 48v 10amp. Will that be okay or should I get a 48v 10.3 amp
ОтветитьThank you for your video.
ОтветитьOr a pat of Kerri Gold butter
ОтветитьIn ur coffee or tea
ОтветитьHiii
ОтветитьMy wife bought me an Ancheer E bike 4 years ago and the battery went bad. I can not get a replacement battery they don't make the bike anymore. Can I use a battery from Amazon as long as it is close in voltage and size?
ОтветитьA friend told me about your channel and I am happy he did tell me to watch. The parallel battery module is something I would love to have
