Wow! Can't believe Alicia Silverstone is playing the role of a mom. I still think of her as the rich "Clueless" girl or Batgirl in "Batman and Robin." How time flies! Once walked passed her in Downtown L.A. She was headed to some event. Can always recognize her facial mannerisms. She has a tendency to bite her lips, with front buckteeth sticking outwards.

Jessica Rothe is simply gorgeous! She resembles Blake Lively so much.

I was excited to see this, but disliked it from the start. Most musicals have a storyline with some musical numbers thrown in. This movie was musical number, after musical number, after musical number with a tiny dab of story thrown in. This movie was 99% singing and 1% story.

Probably a fun film but you really need to see the grime and reality of the original. They make most of it seem like life at that time. With this new film, it's obviously easier to have people bouncing around all happy and saying the extreme cool thing and serve it up as entertainment, but it's much more poignant when you can recreate the way life actually happens.

There's only one Valley Girl movie and this is NOT it!!!
