How about a 1st. generation hemi or an FE big block Ford with a 6-71 blower and duel 4bbl. carbs or throttle body fuel injection with 8 air ports that look like carbs. Zoomie headers would finish this look.
ОтветитьHold on what is that red car up in the lift to the left off the model t or a the red vehicle on the lift???
ОтветитьOh nevermind it's the Fairmont
ОтветитьI think the 460 needs to go in it just put beefyer casings to handle the 460
ОтветитьIt's a hot rod put the 460 in it
ОтветитьManufacture a new radiator and put the 460 that you just pulled out of that truck in it
ОтветитьHow about model t dirt track speed car,😂
ОтветитьA hot rod was what you can afford, ford ,Lincoln, Buick, caddy what ever ,great work guys, bless you all 😅
ОтветитьKeep the drive train ford
ОтветитьWho would like to see sleeper dude start doing fabrication work
ОтветитьYou can flip those coilovers over for less un-sprung weight. Just harder to adjust. If you are going strict 50’s style I’d do a flat head or Y block on the engine.
ОтветитьI think we agree on this, too modern will bring a set of challenges like strength, rigidity possibly (coyote, windsor, cleveland) and LS or SBC or really anything GM in an old Ford will certainly, most definitely have it's own set of content issues and boooooooing. I know you have concerns about the MAX power a flathead will make but I am sure there are some AMAZING old school flathead specialists that could surprise everyone of us! Nothing says hotrod origins like a flathead Ford V8 in a Model T, besides it's gonna weigh about the same as a go cart. Much love, keep up the good work!
ОтветитьMy lord, y'all are car people. The "H" is silent in Panhard. It's like nails on a chalkboard when I hear pan hard over and over. Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Ответить34 Degrees and you're running around in flip flops and crocs. I'm from Michigan so it's hard to feel sorry for ya. But I respect the dedication you have for your choice of footwear.
ОтветитьThe older dodge ram is 5x5.5 and they have a spare steal wheel that's 20 inches and is the same bolt pattern if you want to run a steal hoop
Ответить300 straight six
ОтветитьMake a trip to Clint’s classic car parts in Tenn. featured on what the rust. It is full of two door fords and mercurys. Many are restorable. Check out their channel
Ответить392 probably ain't happening but an old desoto or a dodge. I don't even know all the sizes but they're out there in trucks and buses and just old rotten 4 door cars, but yeah 392 is almost as loved as the 426 and for era correct they are more loved. You shot my idea down in flames. Built flat head 8 .
ОтветитьОтличный проект. Слежу с интересом. В нашей стране вы не будете иметь права выехать на такой машине на дорогу. Много ограничений . Рядный 6 цилиндровый мотор туда встанет?
Ответитьpick you up and 4 banger engine out of a 80s or so ranger.
ОтветитьI haven't seen your channel for a while. 😮I've been sick & almost died twice since the last 6 months. But I'm on the mend. God has been so good and I finally tune back into your channel and what a joy to watch you and your family interact together. I was a youth pastor and family pastor for 36 years. And I can usually tell by how you and your wife Interact, what kind of home life it is and I must say you're a good man who may not be perfect but loves God and loves his family. You're a good leader. And it's obvious how you are living and training and growing your family. Please stay faithful. Love each one of your kid the way that they need be loved. God has blessed you by giving you the desires of your heart. Our prayers are with you stay faithful..
.. But that only happens when you're obedient then faithfulness will follow.
It’s sad to see something this old to be made look like a ghetto cruiser!
ОтветитьI figured it out. Wawa looks like my cousin when she was young Melissa Sue Anderson she played many roles but the famous one is the blind girl "Mary ingalls" on little house on the prairie.look up pictures of her. You will see. What a hoot. Keep on doing what y'all are doing. Making people happy
Ответитьput a v6 grand national engine in it, and redo the wood on the roof.
ОтветитьWhy not a 50s dodge hemi
ОтветитьUse to make roof to aluminium sheet an when you paint parts use clear coat to cast iron parts look cool
ОтветитьVery nice! I’d say to put that 460 in it but built up some and do a carb on it. I have a 1927 ford touring I’m building on a model a frame going for that 70s-80s style hot rod jag rear end and also throwing a 302 in it. Also have a 32 ford 3 window that’s a newer build. Keep on keepin on brother. Always look out for your videos it’s a weekly must do!
ОтветитьWhat about a 4bt Cummins
ОтветитьMy vote is Yblock, but I am a bit biased as I just rebuilt my first engine, a 312 y block.
ОтветитьFE 390 form a galaxy wagon. The secret T-Bird engine.
ОтветитьThere was a model t coupe done in Australia in the 80’s by a man named Rod Hadfield. It’s a full height roof. But it’s got a really cool engine setup.
ОтветитьI like it, I'm keeping my A model pretty standard but some B model spokes or 32+ V8 spokes will make it pop being a tall boy. You need to race it at Ford fest next year?!!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing what transpires 😊 but you could put a pre war V8 in it and race at the race of Gentlemen in New Jersey next year??? Check the race of Gentlemen out!
ОтветитьA Y block or an early hemi is keeping with the 50s theme, but also a Buick nailhead if you can source one. Alternatives to a V8 exist like a hot rodded straight 6 (big block do exist) or even a straight 8. Whatever you choose, a multi carb setup would complete the look. Gotta have at least 3 carbs. 😉
ОтветитьFord FE 352 - 390 or the 223 ford 6 cylinder would also work or a Detroit 456 diesel would also fit
Ответить@ford Do you think you can spare some parts to help this family get'er done? Maybe a proper 50s motor?
ОтветитьAn amazing family brought to us by Super Amazing Parents. Let's hope there is a lot more Parents like y'all out there. And kids you are all what every American should be. Multi. Talented.
Ответить292 Y block with the goofy front crossover exhaust and a single lake style pipe on the passenger side. It would be super oddball and a head turner.
ОтветитьLooking great so far, unwanted parts and chassis could be sold to help fund the build .cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
ОтветитьAlways thought a straight-8 would look great in a hot rod
ОтветитьAny early Lincoln power plant?
ОтветитьStrip, Blast and Refinish the front spoked wheels (they may need trued)
On rear do 8" painted steel wheels with baby moon or dog dish hubcaps
Then put some 8" bias white wall cheaters on the back
Do a black canvas over steel bow roof.
Think it would be less maintenance etc than a stretched leather over steel bow roof.
In summer you can open the roof.
Engine, if you can, should be a flathead.
If you want to go back to the original hotrods anyways.
A blown flathead would be ultra cool.
Then take it to the RPM Nationals
Where is the filler neck on the gas tank?
ОтветитьI vote for an International Harvester 392. Engine coolness is determined by the size of the valve covers, and IH is third after HEMI and BBC.
