Wahala. God help us.
Babe! Ur skin is blinking oooooo
The problem is that most of us don't want to speak up. I'm doing well in domiciliary care because I always speak up. I have been given a favorable rota that will favour my spouse to work and child care as well. I approach them as soon as I have any challenge I no dey waste time.
All thanks to God.
Most people that paid for CoS don't even know how to move to another job because they don't know the nitty-gritty of application.
COS is FREE! FREE! FREE!
What's your Instagram handle pls?
ОтветитьJenny hey love your candid honesty. Thank you and you have spoken my mind. I also suspect them when they pay for everything feels like a set up. It's sad but we are Africans now we are trained to spot shady shit from afar. You said it 👏 🙌.
As far as COS paying is concerned its sad 😔 😟 🙁 😥 😞 but to state some facts. Yes COS isn't free for the employer they pay for it. The longer the validity the more it costs them. I did some research hence this weirdness when you want to leave. However agreeing with you it is supposed to be given for free as you rightly stated.
Also the folks complaining about the work load 🙄 😒 😑 do research lazy people who get shocked when they arrive. Read the contract well. Jenny has said it! Not negating the reality of bad employers but guys the work is no secret it's alot. Prepare start going to the gym and get fit. Drive around even join youre version of Uber to start getting prepared. Prepare Prepare Prepare and try mimicking the conditions. Yes you cant do it all but at least do your best
Please how do I join a union. I'm in London
ОтветитьDom care is tough o. Our ppl back home won't understand. I didn't understand myself. I tot I was hardworking enough to face anything. I can only move forward. Going back wld be shameful for me. But if it'll kill u then u must leave. Uk is not wat they show on TV. Media can be a basted, pardon my language. It's not fun here. If come alone without interaction with other ppl frm ur country or even other nationality, u will be depressed. U can't even have time for family if u bring them
ОтветитьLike u said , have a long term plan
ОтветитьThank you Jenny. Can we please have a video on joining these unions. The benefits, payments etc. Thnx

How long can i take to switch from a domiciliary carer to a resident carer once am in the UK?and what's the process?
Hi Jenny, please what have heard of one year of sponsorship before? A friend got one year of CoS and she's scared to apply for visa because she thinks it might be fake
ОтветитьI like you talk Jane nice one
ОтветитьHi Jenny
I know a company that will sponsor you but you will have to pay them back when you arrive. The payment is done by deducting an agreed amount from your monthly wages
I learnt the home office is charging £199 for COS, how true is this
ОтветитьHi Jenny, how do I join the union.?
ОтветитьWill your contract state that u will be a domiciliary care worker
ОтветитьHello Jenny, well done on all the information you share.
Please how does one get extra Agency shifts???? Please, thanks.
I see some people commenting and saying the carer or Africans are lazy bla bla and saying don't you know what you came to do in UK. If you can't sympathise or show empathy, why not face front
Someone is down and feeling bad or let's even say the person made a bad choice due to ignorance and all you thought to do is to further talk them down and call them lazy. Just know that you are an enabler and also part of the problem and you will probably treat your staffs badly given the opportunity
These people overseas also come to Africa to hustle/work and most times they work under very good condition and are given preferential treatment. Is it too much for an employer to be kind to their overseas carers knowing that the work is very tough, hard and demanding? The fact that you are ready and willing to sacrifice your life in the name of hustling abroad does and should not invalidate the concern of another person that has issues or can't stand the working conditions. Be sensitive to people's feelings
Hi, very helpful video. Pls can you explain what shift basis Am and Pm means as a job description of a healthcare assistant?
ОтветитьI just came here a week now and I'm ready to go back home. This walking is not for me. My feet are swollen to the point where they can't going into my shoes. From 7am -10pm is utter madness.
