Diamine Inkvent Calendar 2023: Day 1

Hello my friends, it's that time of year again! Diamine released their Inkvent calendar for 2023, and it's purple. As usual, my plan is to upload a new video every day of each new Inkvent bottle of ink, with swatches of that ink on a variety of papers, and when I have time, I'll also provide some writing samples and maybe some art work (such as it is) if I can manage it. There is a real chance this year that I will be too busy to finish the calendar, so wish me luck.

Again, it's November 30th as I write this, and I'm just finishing my first video, so I hope I'll be able to make some progress in the next week and finish a few in advance.

Diamine has added a new type of inks this year in the Inkvent Calendar, and they've taken one away as well. I'll cover the new one when we get to it, but the missing category is "Sheening Inks", which was probably my personal favorite, so that's a bit of a shame.
