when i lived in the netherlands, i would order stuff from china pretty much every week - it was so convenient. now i live in norway, and it's super inconvenient to order stuff, so my shopping addiction is gone. it helps me realise that I never needed all that stuff. so i focus on buying local or making things i need myself. i feel better and my bank account feels better haha

well this is risk of having nothing being produced in your own country. USA is just like Sweden, to much imported products. i REALLY hope we in Europe and people in USA get some "local" productions back, sadly we have to many taxes and to many environmental laws and rules that makes it more expensive to produce. but if i get a good European product like my Volkswagen from Germany, or a smartphone med in Poland or my hunting weapons from Ukraine and their weapons industry i would happily pay a little bit more to cover the salary cost´s. compared to Chinese products. i try as far as i can not to buy a product made in China, and i make sure to give my feed back to companies who use China for production that i dont want it. i want "Made in US" or "Made in Europe" again! i miss those times!
And this would solve the shipping and transport issues we have also!

It s like 150 years ago,we all got the phones but they are using them only as a trucking tool and gor all info on when the load is ready when is the pick up you have to believe in borcker s word and drive to get that kind of info.

Q is more about the world, from Democratic point, cannot allow totalitarian/dictatorship to lead & rule the world. If China was a Democratic nation then no stop for China, to me. Today world is not a place for any nation to become big spender actually. May be in the longer future there may come the new big spender. Every nations just simply need peace and stability where no nation create war nor threats. Stability is a desirable way of the world. Companies are also worried about problems with trading between countries and politics, so they're setting up more places to make stuff. Instead of just having enough stuff on hand, they might start keeping extra, just in case something goes wrong. Basically, COVID-19 showed how fragile big supply chains are, so now everyone wants them to be stronger.

Kalifornia is in the processing of outlawing the use of internal combustion vehicles and that includes trucks that service the ports at Long Beach ! Truck operators are fleeing Kalifornia do the supply is and will continue to decrease. All those products that you take for granted will become more c ostly and take much lolnger to get to you!
This is not o nly for products made in China but also for food grown in Kalifornia that's transported to the rest of the country!!! So expect the food you eat to cost more as well!!!

I was really impressed with all the workers involved in this documentary, especially their attitudes. As a retired person, I truly appreciate all workers involved in the delivery process. I appreciate all workers everywhere who make our world work. As customers we should be appreciative and don't need to make their jobs harder with insignificant complaints and excessive demands.
