I'm holding quite a few losing positions with CIC. The analysis is interesting but it has a huge flaw in the core of it, like an elephant in the room that noone sees: the study of the historical behaviour of the stock, as if the stock is a living organism! After spending money on Patreon and/or Seeking Alpha and losing countless hours in the chat rooms discussing stocks, the CIC portfolio is underperforming by more than 30% compared to just buying SPY.
