That’s tough to figure out in 45 seconds.
Ответитьno shame in not knowing that, that was a HARD 500k question (which easily could've been for a million imo)
great job brianne !!!
I feel kind of sad there wasn't more 21 year olds on the Philbin show when the questions were easier. The phone game wasn't a pay toll line in the US right, how come so many people who got on were mid 30s engineers?
ОтветитьMeredith was too invested😂
ОтветитьI just noticed that this contestant is one of the contestants on regis Philbins 10 year anniversary intro flashbacks in 2009.
ОтветитьThe "experts" are rigged to get it wrong on purpose
ОтветитьSeems like those "ask the experts" lifelines never actually work
Ответить$ 250,000 LOT OF MONEY
ОтветитьBrianne’s $50K question:

C. Discovering the element neon D. Founding the city of Detroit
Answer: D
Brianne’s $100K question:
What Elvis Presley song was originally a hit for blues singer Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton in 1953?
A. Hound Dog B. Love Me Tender
C. Heartbreak Hotel D. Blue Suede Shoes
Answer: A
Can you upload the full episode?
ОтветитьWho else knew the millionaire questions after playing the Wii game?
ОтветитьJUST BREATHE.
ОтветитьAwww she was only 21 😍
ОтветитьI knew the answer, and here's an interesting story as to why (spoiler alerts): I was always interested in the U.S. Civil War, and the patriarch of the family reluctantly rented his farmhouse at Manassas, Virginia, to Confederate general P.G.T. Beauregard during First Bull Run (also called First Manassas). In fact, a Union cannonball reportedly landed in his fireplace. A few years later, both for his family's protection and not wanting to risk losing his sugar crops, he moved them approximately 120 miles southwest to Appomattox County Virginia, near Lynchburg. Appomattox Court House is not actually a courthouse, but a small, dusty crossroads community, and has since been converted into a historical park. When Lee was asked to surrender, one of his couriers found the family patriarch walking along the road, the first man he saw. Reluctantly, he agreed to allow them to use his living room as conditions of surrender.
According to legend, that family patriarch - Wilmer McLean - is believed to have said, "The war began in my front yard and ended in my front parlor."
I don't know how but I somehow knew the answer was C. Well done Brianne! I'm really proud of you (even though this was almost eight years ago).
ОтветитьI was leaning towards c
ОтветитьI actually thought it was C or D.
ОтветитьI thought it was The Mcleans bacause I thought it sounded right and it turned out to be right!
ОтветитьI knew that answer....Probably the first time taking APUSH ever came in handy :)
ОтветитьI feel so proud that I knew that answer, but then again I am from Virginia.
ОтветитьIf i was the expert i would google the answer LoL.
ОтветитьSmart lady :)
Ответитьlmao somehow I knew that answer hmm... good intuition I guess =]
Ответитьi really miss those light effects and stuff
Ответить@islandman24 Well she only gets 150,000 after the 40% tax deductions she gets so it probably wouldn't even pay off all of her loans.
Ответитьher dimples are amazing.
Ответитьi really hate these "popular belief" or "popular joke" or "according to paris hilton" crap,i mean what does knowing all this shit proves?these arent facts, just fads that people pass around as gossip and ice breakers, people really shouldnt have to know this shit for money if is not even a fact to start with
ОтветитьI think that this is why they ditched the Ask an Expert lifeline.
ОтветитьI love how at 4:28 when Meredith hands her the check, she's holding back tears, or am I the only person to notice that? Right before she says "You've won $250k". Great game Brianne!!
ОтветитьI'd hit it
Ответить@EricAKATheBelgianGuy wow-if jehan had known this as well, she also would have gotten her question right!
Ответить@teamguido555 I don't think a $500,000 winner is going to happen again. Personally, I blame Ken Basin. No one's taking risks anymore because of what happened with him.
Ответить@sunnygrace57 oh yeah i saw her i guess i thought i put down $500000 winner but now i realize that i hadnt sorry!
Ответить@teamguido555 Her name was Kimberly Collins. Her $250,000 question was "What book is shown in Goodnight Moon?" (A: Runaway Bunny) and her $500,000 question was "What Nobel Prize winner promised the prize money to his ex-wife?" (A: Albert Einstein.) She walked away with $250,000.
Ответить@sunnygrace57 what! details please!
Ответить@teamguido555 We just did in October.
ОтветитьGoing into the $500K question with a lifeline still left- that's how to play the game right!
Ответитьi feel like the producers of the syndicated show, since it is run everyday, is trying to cut down the amount of money given on the show, hence why the first five are relatively harder than before, and less people are getting to the higher amounts on the show...
Ответитьvery few people even see the 100k question anymore, much less 250k or even 500k. her and Jehan Deen are the 2 top winners of timed millionaire, im my opinion sam murray doesnt count.. his million dollar question was only really worth 50k, in my opinion, and only made it up to question 12(100k) and walked with 50k. these 2 women have alot to be proud of, they are up there with nancy christy. i hope the money went so far for her
Ответитьi wonder does anyone have her full run at all. if you do, or know the link to it, send me it please?
Ответитьtoo bad we will never again see a half million dollar question with the elimination of the great phone-a-friend lifeline...
Ответить
