The Secret To Getting Your Dream Job | Study With Jess |

I have no idea what I want to do with my life, and I need help ASAP! I love so many different things- science, reading and writing, drawing, music, you name it! There are so many paths that I could go down, and I don't know which to choose. Here are a few of my options...

Science
Marine Biology- I love the ocean, and being able to research it? That would be a dream come true! Being able to spend my days diving down and researching marine life, and then analyzing my data in a lab, would be tons of fun. Since I love to learn new things, this would be perfect for me!
Geneticist: I love genetics. Like, LOVE genetics. I find it so interesting to learn about the way we get our traits, and why we look the way we do. It's so interesting to me, and I think that that's a pretty valid reason to become a geneticist!
Biomedical Engineer: I don't know too much about this field, except that it has to do with making medicines. I love to help people, and I think it'd be super cool to research and find cures for different diseases, so this would definitely be a job for me!
Author: Although it's a little unrealistic because it's hard to know whether or not you'll become a bestseller and actually make money, being an author is such a huge dream of mine that I just couldn't leave it off the list. Writing is my passion, and I just love to create stories in a fantasy world. It's amazing!
Teacher: I honestly don't care if it's second grade or if it's eighth, I love kids, and being able to teach them would be so fun. I'm very right brained and tend to be really creative, so I know that I could come up with fun lesson plans. If I were in a second grade classroom, I would have fun creating cute little games for the kids. If it was seventh or eighth grade, I'd enjoy making kids love to read or write in an english classroom, or teaching them to love history in a social studies classroom. It would be so much fun!
Screenwriting: Everyone tells me that I'm good at dialogue, and since TV isn't going anywhere, then why not be a screenwriter? As I said earlier, I love to write, so this job would definitely suit me. And seeing my words come to life would be even better!

I know that I'm going to do a double major so that I have a backup job (probably education) but I'm not sure what my main choice will be. I just enjoy so many things! A little help would be amazing. Thanks :P

And what if you're not good at anything and the thing you would probably like to do for the rest of your life is too far away from you because you don't have the knowledge, the educational training and you are too old and don't have the necessary money to start acquiring those skills ?

I've always wanted to be a lawyer. My teachers think it is a little odd by how well I can argue my point. (especially at how young I am)
