resveratrol has lots of valid research and benefits. Dr Stanfield is either a dummy or he is purposely being deceitful

Strangely, 2 years later, the Web is full of new articles on resveratrol which seem unaware of this result.

Pharma can "prove" anything they want, and publish anything they want. Trust no one. Do your own test. See how you feel. That's all that's needed.

Resveratrol is a big scandal and is a phytoestrogen. I have personally tried it after all the hype and noted that my bad cholesterol went up and lowered my energy levels. It makes the skin look soft as it is a phytoestrogen. I feel so much better after stopping it.

So is resveretrol a useless molecule?
Nope, it’s still massively beneficial… it just might not activate sirt 1.
It still aids and protects against cancer, is anti inflammatory and is an anti oxidant… I take it and will continue to do so..
I recently had my bloods done and they were great!
High blood pressure and hereditary kidney issues runs in my family…
Although I Excercise and try to eat and drink well… I still consume alcohol and don’t sleep that well at the moment…My blood pressure is 118 / 80 …. I have to part put it down to the supplements I take, and resveretrol is one of them 👍

I do like this concept - keeping the industry on their toes. Anti-aging stuff is an easy target though. But it would seem from your own references, that the key issue is bioavailability (20%) and a short half life of resveratrol (13mins). It's to do with the dosage - if you up the dosage you will get more in your blood but due to the amount of wastage from poor bioavailability, it can cause damage to kidneys. That 80% has to be disposed of and it takes processing. Hasn't Sinclair moved towards it's higher performing analogue pterostilbene? That is 80% bioavailable and has a half life in plasma of 105 mins. So have you done a video on curcumin - less than 1% bioavailable and yet companies promote it's benefits on the label of supplements, knowing full well their customers are basically getting nothing.

Its great you've shed light on extreme claims for resveratrol, but it would have been REALLY helpful to let those of us know that may have supplies of it, of any other valid uses for it.....SURELY it is of "some" measure of benifit for something/anything, perhaps duodendritic recovery spans?...

To start repair mode: 1. Only eat once day with 2 hour feeding window. 2. Fast for 1 day. 3. Fast for 7 days. Fast with water and minerals. 3 is best - after 3 days fasting, triggers full repair mode. Read the manual that came with your body. 1000's of years old idea.

Any anti-inflammatory agent blunts the positive effects of exercise. Your claim "Resveratrol is harmful to humans" is a complete non-sense because you don't know anything about inflammation for sure.

I'am Keto/Carnivore. Plants don't wanna be eaten many of the secondary plant molecules are for defense purpose aka they are toxic they should discourage animals from eating them. There are just a few exceptions which really must be proofen in longtime studies. But the area of diet is a war area only a few ppl accept the truth that we are social packunters so we are naturally carnivores with a small portion of non animal foods. Cats also eat gras from time to time but they are still carnivores same is true for humans. A real herbivore has several stomaches or very big modulated stomaches - do we have several or big modified stomaches No! Just compare a cow and a human and you will see that the digest tract in relation to body seize is three times bigger in the cow.

I might believe you that resveratrol does not do great deal by itself. But here is the multimillion dollars claim that I make: the resveratrol greatly improves the benefits of ethanol or other way arround if you wish. Please allow me to make this more visible RESVERATROL (microdose << 1g) + CH3CH2OH (right doses, no abuse) = HEALTH + LONGEVITY Now that deserves researches to be made.

You should do a video on agamtine and addiction. There are a mountian of animal studies that all same the same thing yet no human studies are being done This substance in mice rats and primates makes them completly uninterested in rewarding substances and even when substances such as opiods are adminstered along with agmatine the animals have no behavoural effects from opioids such as hyperlocomotion and do not show withdrawal signs even when adminstered nalaxone .This effect has been reproduced several times

I found this video, because actually I was taking resveratrol from Vitis vinifera, at least this states manufacturer that it is not from japanese knotweed but I started to have quite strong muscle and joint pain in elbow and forearm after 1 hr of intake of a pill. Nothing else I was taking the capsule itself consists of hidroxipropilmetilcelulose plus vitis vinifera extract 200 mg plus resveratrol 100 mg. I am physician so clearly I was thinking that it is kind of side effect from substance which claimed to be anti-inflammatory. Now I see how it is in reality. Thank you Doctor Brad, you really make life of other patients much easier because side effects can ruin the life and make it even worse .
