Licensed games seem to be often bad and only a few actually give justice to the source material.
Superman going through rings kind of reminds me of a circus act. Do they ever give any explanation for them in the game?
I grew up watching the X-Men cartoons (among others), but I don't remember them touching too much on the subject of mutants being opressed or discriminated. The first movie though more than made up for it and was a good lesson for equality and acceptance. Too bad the game isn't so good.
Oh, and of course I remember Space Ghost. :D
Release years of games in video:
- 2003
- 1999 (Another alt. title was "Superman: The New Superman Adventures")
- 1989 (aka "Marvel's X-Men")
Very cool theme to talk about these badly rated games here.
Superman became Aquaman's oceanworld dolphin, jumping through hoops
ОтветитьOh man! I knew about Superman 64, but Aquaman seems somehow worse since it's a much newer game. So much open, boring, dead space to just move around in.
ОтветитьThe guy playing Superman 64 in your footage actually makes the ring-flying look fun.
Ответитьavgn ass episode lol
ОтветитьAquaman at least functions. It works as a game. Superman and X-Men should be considered war crimes.
ОтветитьI owned The Uncanny X-Men game growing up and even at seven years old I knew it was trash. Why does one of the levels seemingly take place on a giant plate of spaghetti with baked beans? What is the scenario that is taking place in the X-Men canon that has brought our heroes to this?
ОтветитьGood to know what not to play.
I managed to redeem the BioShock Key from GOG, many thanks for that.
Keep up the good work.
No, there IS ONE OTHER good thing to be said about Aquaman: Battle for (Sh)Atlantis. For the time, the animation of Aquaman's hair was rather good!
