To explain this wrong approach by parallel example, I would bring in English. Many scientific discoveries - Newton' gravity, Darwin's evolution and many more - were written in English language and as a result of that this language became dominant, hegemonist and imperialist in its impact. If you do not read, understand and relate yourself to gravity and evolution expressed therein and do analyse the nature of English, you will a wrong conclusion. Ditto with Sanskrit. The speaker here is talking of Buddha, Castes and Hinduism without knowing - I dare say - even A, B, C of what Buddha meant. In fact, at Buddha's time Vedic knowledge - which now you call Hinduism - had deteriorated into mere rituals and Buddha reformed it by going to the original intent of Vedic knowledge and saying that "conduct alone matters" (He famously said, "Appe dipak bhav or be light thyself"). The speaker here knows nothing of divine prescription of Buddha and foolishly talking about Sanskrit's hegemonistic nature. In fact, such scholars are not "patra" or entitled to talk on Orientalism with authority.
