Singing aside which is hard to do - the musicians are impeccable. Just watch.

My mom was a real Fan of Spade Cooley. I grew up listening to him, Lawerence Welk, and Jackson Sinclair (The Polka Parade). Through my Grandparents, add to that Hilo Hattie!

Festus was cool as it gets. Everyone on Gunsmoke were the best.

Still had a great voice in his Gunsmoke days I believe in 1966 started off an episode singing at a funeral

and that was Roy Rogers on Kens left shoulder. RR real name Leonard Slye

In case some don't know, but.he also sung in John Wayne's movie the Rio granda.

I wonder why the Gunsmoke writers never had Milburn Stone and Ken Curtis sing a duet. Stone had a beautiful singing voice.

Listening to my ol' buddy Festus here, I found myself thinking, "Who ever had a better singing voice? Sinatra? Crosby? Nah!"

Roy Rogers was in this group too!

Curtis was in a lot of John Ford films, as he was Ford's son-in-law.

I have Loved The Son’s of the Pioneers since I was about 7years old. On Saturday mornings would sit on the floor with ours ears to the old radio. (It was very early and we didn’t want to wake our parents.)

Saw him sing on an episode of Big Valley years ago. Blew me away

This is just one reason Ken Curtis absolutely made the tv show Gunsmoke an absolute hit, he can sing so beautifully

I was so happy to see Roy Rogers also. I knew he was one of the SOP but had never seen him with Ken.
