I cannot forget that day. I was seven years old and we were sent home from school early. The streets were eerily empty. My mom was sitting in front of the television, crying. I‘ve never seen her like that before or after. She tried to explain to me what had happened. I did not understand anything — which is still true today. Cronkite‘s voice was kind of reassuring. But it wasn‘t enough to heal the pain at that time. Nevertheless, I trusted whatever he said from there on.
ОтветитьAfter all this time it hurts to watch this 😂
ОтветитьI remember that creepy As the world turns music.
ОтветитьWho's watching this after the release of the files
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьWho is here after jfk files are released?
ОтветитьThey all seemed to be in on it .. shady work 😮
ОтветитьMy grandmother and her mother, were very upset, they actually helped campaigned for him, they were answering phones, going door to door, giving out signs etc. when the news broke, they were terrified and heartbroken.
ОтветитьMy mother would have been around 19 years old when JFK was assassinated. She told me the story of how she purchased something at some store (maybe it was a gas station), forgive me for not remembering that detail...I don't think she had heard yet what had happened in Dallas. She made the purchase and was due change, the man turned to her, obviously distraught, and gave her a pile of change, more than what was due.
ОтветитьJFK files being released on 3/18/25, news just released.
ОтветитьOperation mockingbird leader right here.
Ответить13 years before my time. What a powerful broadcast removing his glasses
ОтветитьAnyone want to buy my reel to reel audio tapes from the first 45 minutes after the assassination of jfk CBS selling it best offer
ОтветитьAnd I have state of the Union of Robert Kennedy and remembering the young boy with a big hope and Apollo 1
ОтветитьHello my name is Julian. I found some reel to reel audio tapes from the first 45 minutes after assanation of jfk45min CBS iwant to no if they are worth something
ОтветитьWhen Kennedy died, Americana died with him.
Ответить👣👣👣
ОтветитьI was 7 years old and in the first grade remember being told in school that JFK was assassinated and being let out of school to go home and found my mother crying 😢
ОтветитьThe most terrible day in my life I'm 78
ОтветитьWatching this as Trump just signed papers to release classified documents 💀
ОтветитьCronkite expressed silently the shock most Americans and many people around the world were feeling.
It was not just one man that died in Dallas, Texas on 11/22/63 but a Dream of a Brighter America.
I was just a small boy, but he was my President too. No president since has inspired me as much.
How did they get the photo so fast?!
ОтветитьCarlos marcello hated Kennedy and had the means for the assassination.
ОтветитьSay what you will about Cronkite. He was the last good news caster that there was
ОтветитьCrazy how as a nation we can go from this display of honest fact checked truthful journalism to today's current political media climate! Honesty, integrity and hope have been thrown out of the window! The division, hatred, racism, naivety and disinformation is abhorrent and gross in the United States! When is enough going to be enough! The current administration whitewashing and glossing over history to achieve some form of political hierarchy and power is gross, disgusting and abhorrent!!!!
Ответить😢
ОтветитьGoosebumps
ОтветитьMust b hard for a news reader to keep composed reading shocking news like that
ОтветитьAs the world turns indeed! JFK loved by Americans and never to be forgotten
ОтветитьWho is here 1-23-2025 because Trump is going to reveal all?
ОтветитьNow facism has come to the USA
ОтветитьThis was very sad in our history
ОтветитьSuch a different era. Barely even resembles today.
ОтветитьThey or their families and y'all are going to be held accountable for being involved in the illuminati Freemason Epstein Network and you're gonna give back what you stole from me too
ОтветитьThe Young Pride Landers from The Lion Guard symbolized Lee Harvey Oswald with spoiled milk, rotten eggs and moldy food for killing John Fitzgerald Kennedy!
ОтветитьWe’re all so cold now. Ppl used to care about each other.
ОтветитьGod hw I wish we could have television news of this caliber once again. Pure reporting with no personal opinion garbage.
ОтветитьThey just don't make 'em like that anymore. And that is a bad thing for humanity, and especially for the USA.
ОтветитьCronkite and Kennedy were friends and had sailed together many times. JFK's death was personal, but Walter kept it together in an effort to keep the nation together.
ОтветитьI was in 8th grade shop class making a table painting at black to cover up my mistakes
ОтветитьHello it’s true..
ОтветитьA true journalist
ОтветитьWhen the Press saith the Truth and nothing but the truth
ОтветитьHow did they wire a photograph back in the day? How did that work?
ОтветитьAnd they will they assassinate their mama
Ответить11 yrs ago? more like 65 years ago
ОтветитьThis was the man America trusted the most from the early 60s to the early 70s. It must've been awful seeing the most trustworthy American sobbing while telling the world the President is dead must have been awful.
ОтветитьI’m only 20 but this just of been insane to hear on the radio or something
