Watching this scene with the music makes me think: Look at all the destruction and intimidation caused by only one machine without even killing anyone. Imagine thousands of these machines shooting to kill in the future. No wonder the war was so hard . This is why this is the best sequel. The other sequels have strong terminators, but they are too easy to defeat at times.

Easily the most badass scene of any movie in which nobody gets injured

One thing that's sometimes overlooked is the sheer weight of the M-134A2 Vulcan rig that Arnold had to carry. He's one of the few actors who could actually even pull this off. There was a scaled down version of the same gun in Predator with a much smaller and lighter backpack style ammo drum. But the firearms they used in T2 weren't lightweight props, and the gun itself weighs nearly 100 lbs while the ammo drum was probably a good 50 lbs. Most of the weight is slung over his shoulder, but it's still close to the weight of an entire person he was hauling around. And he just makes it look effortless. 💪

The Sound Design in the whole Movie is awesome.

What also makes this scene great is the fear on the police. They believe and "know" him as the one who shot up the police station in 1984. So that added terror to the fact that he is weilding a minigun, just adds so much more to this scene.
